These are not exclusively for the Turbo's either - I have a MY00 Sport and had my Afterburner back box put on yesterday

The difference in looks from getting rid of the Sport's pea-shooter to the full 4.5 inches of the Afterburner is an absolutely beauty to behold. But the magic really begins when you turn the ignition...as the engine fires up to about 1200rpm it bursts into a deep growl before settling down to a nice purr at the 400rpm idle. Once on the open road it's 6000rpm gear changes all the way

Top product from Hayward and Scott and my thanks to Wendy at ScoobyWorld for her assistance in getting the box to me so quickly

Sounds good even though the soundbites arent that great. Nice growl and flat 4 warble. The finish doesnt look anywhere near as good as on my Blitz Nurspec though...

Simon.

P.S. Wendy - the main pic price for the H&S Downpipe says £90 inc VAT and the drop down box says £95 inc VAT.....

quick update - we have uprated the spec slightly - now includes a highly polished tailpipe AND rear silencer and the weld mark between the silencer and tailpipe has been removed to appear as one piece.

New pics now up on our web site www.scoobyworld.co.uk

Question

What is the volume on this like compared to other exhausts is it less than things like the reported ear bleeding Firestorm and Blitz? I have heard the sound bites and like the sound just don't want it to be stupidly loud!

Also Wendy can this be supplied with a slash cut to the tail pipe like the Blitz or is it straight cut only?

Got any pics of the coloured tail pipe? I presume this is look a like Titanium finish?

Its not difficult to have any back box with any style of tailpipe...

I went for a Jap style 5" slash cut BB thats VERY simialr to the Firestorm, but with 3" bore pipework, mates ok to a 2.5" centre de-cat or oem pipework and gives me the option of going for a full 3" system later.
My mate has a full 3" de-cat system that finishes with the same BB silencer, only his is finished off with a 5" rolled out tailpipe.

Both cars sounded awesome

Maybe the blue cars BB would look nicer if all the crap was wiped off before taking photo's...its a highly polished finish when clean... HONEST

Ali

The Afterburner is a relatively loud system but it is only loud on acceleration but quiet on cruise. We do also have the Afterburner stealth which is quieter. You still get the fantastic flat four burble with both systems.

The coloured tailpipe is still being developed and as yet is not available.

We will be happy to entertain a slash cut if there is demand for it, and if it proves popular we will offer it as another option for the Afterburner.

Try it see what you think! If you dont like it we offer either a full refund or alternative within seven days of receipt of the Exhaust if you are not 100% happy with it.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Recent Customer feedback "Just had the AFTERBURNER back box fitted. What a fantastic sound, awesome!!!! We already had an aftermarket exhuast, but this is the best ever. All Scooby drivers should get one, just sheer pleasure"

Jimmy,
Any chance of seeing the pics too?? andy_cordonathotmail.com and did you do the motorway run yet? Am trying to deside over the Afterburner or the Blitz NUR. The Blitz is winning on looks so far.

Cheers mate
