Ahh, yes, I do that occasionally. Nicely timed though by you to not lose any health doing it

Yeah - that was a sweeping pickup - the plane had swooped down after dropping the passenger off earlier.

Footlong, your landing was classic! It was just like a cartoon as you touched down, rolled towards the edge then just tipped off, should have tried a running pickup like BuRR there Though like I said probably didn't help the carrier was moving slightly

I just wish that they had more Mustangs in the missions

I am getting seriously, seriously good at bombing with those puppies

Just played Market Garden, 3 rounds on one of the EA servers and had 23 Mustang kills, 15 of which were tanks, most moving Shame that I can't do the dogfighting bit tho Sorry, just well chuffed, as I found the planes to be a complete and utter mare at first.

Cheers,

Nick

Yeah, the mustangs a great, they seem to have the most power of the fighters and very manoeverable. I know what you mean about the dogfighting thing, I mostly use the fighters for bombing and just try and dodge any people who actually use the guns

Question

How on earth exactly did you manage to get that score?

Big ticket game perhaps?

CTF..... but all one-on-one kills. Usual EAUK settings.

EAUK 14 or something like that. Notice the 3 gold medals?

I have no idea what the ctf is all about in 1942. Haven't tried it.

Do Chindits have a server to play on, or are you lot nomadic?

Cheers,

Nick

We're nomadic at the moment, but tend to play on the EAUK CTF servers

CTF is simply this........

Grab the opponents flag and bring it home. They will try and do the same.

You can only "cap" the flag when yours is in place.

The other stations / spawn points can be taken like conquest.

I prefer this gamestyle as people tend to work more as a team, and there's less of the one-man-army tactics that tend to plague conquest.

I'll be playing late tonight, give me a call on MSN: burratha@hotmail.com or on icq: 854512

Hahso......

That's cool. I play UT/2003 CTF and Q3ta ctf.

StuntMonkey and Mr Lister, who will see from time to time on the multiplay server are vets at UT ctf too

I did run some cool servers for them too, but not doing so at the mo....

Loving UT2003 Team Deathmatch too at the mo, as it is at least mildy team-like. I am like yourself, far more team oriented rather than solo deathmatch malarkey. Never really been my scene

I will be on from time to time this weekend mate, so see you in there and I am planning on joining wardomain at some point soon

Cheers,

Nick

Mr Footlong... I thought it MUST be you, as I've not seen anyone with that name before.

Guys, you may have seen some of my "chaps" fighting on the EAUK, Blueyonder, and MPUK servers,

we go under the "Chindits" tag.

Please feel free to visit the above War Domain URL. We're trying to create a central point for the European Battlefield 1942 community. I've managed to secure prizes from an international hardware supplier for winning clans once we get a clan league up and running after Christmas.

Clans are always recruiting on there, so if any of you want to have a teamgame, then its a good place to meet new friends.

It would be nice to see you guys on the site.
