Lancaster? Not seen that on any of the multiplayers off hand, can see B17 on El Alamein and Market Garden though...

Yep, I play it daily and have not come across a Lancaster Bomber like the others said.

I play on the Multiplay UK server as -[GiMp]- Mr Footlong

Cheers,

Nick

Completed the single player as Allied and Axis and there's no Lancaster there.

Never seen one on multiplayer either.

Don't think you'll see one seeing as according to the game the British only ever thought in North Africa and then only twice or so

LOL. I take it that you are saying that after you have just bailed out then?

Position 1 does always help if want the plane to continue flying

Nick

Nah, just wanted to have a go in one of the turrets, we were playing el alamein as axis and I did a bit of off-roading, got us to the allied airfield just in time to rob the B17 I nabbed the pilots seat to start with, then wanted mike to fly while I pissed about with the turrets He bailed out and went splat, did try landing at our airfield, somewhat unsuccesfully

Nice.

After initially sucking at the planes, I am somewhat of a don now with them, especially with the Dauntless

Cheers,

Nick

P.S What server do you guys play on then?

It would be cool to have some more scoobynetters on the one that I use, which is a very good one

Neil, you will shortly have mail

On the Multiplay one, they normally have clan matches about 2-3 times a week at night, but apart from that, it is public, merely protected by a password that changes every other week

Cheers,

Nick

The MPUK clan would love for you to offer them a clan/freindly match mate!

They are on the lookout for good european tams to play with.

Just email Bvark, Wizzo or Defcon etc off of their forum in the mail that I sent you and see what they say

Cheers,

Nick.

P.S The only thing that p!sses me off is that I am not allowed to join their clan, despite being as good/better than a fair few of their members due to the fact that I have not gone to one of the official organized LAN parties yet

The rattly STi is a sore point right now, whole situation is a joke, someone from subaru uk looked at it and confirmed the problem. My dealer (well service manager, you know lying barry)told me something would be happening in a couple of weeks and that was on Sep 26th

I'm [1966]Jerry and there are a few of us (all with cheesy German names) such as [1966]Fritz, [1966]Gunter, [1966]Herman, etc - so say hello if you see us as 1942 is our "game of the moment"

We normally play on the EAUK servers as they seem the most stable

Nice server, had fun playing, despite BF1942 being a good game in theory it must be one of the buggiest pieces of crap to be released ever But then people were saying this after they heard in went gold shortly after the (even buggier) demo was released.

BuRR is pretty good at playing, I have just come off from playing with both him and you. Most of the usual suspects were not playing, but the guys that were on 2nite were alright, Including my cohorts, -[GiMp]- JiMbO and -[GiMp]- StuntMonkey

The bugs and the seemingly slack netcode are annoying, just like that damn disc check between every level change [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]grrr...

Cheers,

Nick

Just to add Andrew, I physically fell on the floor with laughter after watching that hilarious landing attempt by me to pick you up on the moving carrier!

I rushed it especially for you. See what happens?

Cheers,

Nick
