I have a question for white wine drinkers - why is it that the more expensive white wine is, the more it tastes of cabbage?

When I was at Uni we were out pretty much 7 nights a week. By the end of term, 10 pints a night had no effect on you at all (bar visits to the little boys room).

These days, maybe out couple of times a week. Out tonight so will have maybe 4 pints and usually out Sunday night for 3 pints or so.

Mates wedding this Sunday, probably treble that figure. For his stag night two weeks ago, we were 10 pints up by 5.30pm

Normally about half a bottle of wine a night... would expect to get trashed on a Saturday...

Although I'm trying to cut down at the mo, waistline is starting to display a growing middle age spread.
