Great turnout - good to see everyone - we must go there again. And the food was lovely, just a shame about those munters from Leeds

Car had a MASSIVE misfire on way home - but I think I am closer to solving the problem as when it misfired ALL the lights went off. Only ever seen it during the day. Faulty connection somewhere, or fatigued earth strap...

...see you all again soon.

trout

Got to be an earth fault.. if its all the lights as in head lights then I would look between the battery and the car body..

Also replace the body to block earth whilst your at it...

Drop me a mail if you want to sort this w/band lambda and possibly your catch tank at the same time one weekend ??

Or is leeds too bad for you?

Chaps,
I pulled into the car park at 9pm after finishing work late.Saw an array of fine machinery. Then got a call from the missus that she had been involved in an RTA in Otley and had to leave immediately.Never even got into the pub.I've just got home from the LGI.
Who's is the New shape scoob with full WRC paintjob? Awesome.
By the way Anna is OK,just severe whiplash.
Next time then Steven, glad it was well attended.
Paul.

That's Tom's (Rum*'s) car. Glad your other half is ok - we saw someone drive in, then drive out and wondered if they didn't realise that we were still there

We thought that you might have turned up in the, ah, company car too as there was high drama when a Rover 200 was pulled over in the pub car park.

Glad you all enjoyed it, will have to do it again definately, same place possibly?

Hope everything is ok Paul

The best bit for me was the Le Mans style dash for the cars as everyone was leaving, then a rumble of thunder and suddenly everyone had vanished, whilst Emma stalled the car

No amount of goading would get Emma to try and catch Trout and Buzz, although we did eventually catch Buzz in Dunnington for him then to overtake, tut tut Paul, and he was off.

Emma was obeying my previous instructions of taking it steady due to the clutch, she did not listen to my "Go on catch em up, put your foot down" remarks

Nice to meet everyone

See you next time 2nd December, same place?

no the 4 pots are just front, the rears are standard and still on my car, pretty much the same as your rears. Its just the fronts on yours that are poor!

Well it certainly would not have been Emma they were after, dont think 70mph on the A64 is over the limit, we got passed by a Citreon AX, that sounded like it was about to explode

Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but I knew my dinner was getting cold

Nice to meet those I met - someone will have to take me out for a sedate drive to show me what a standard turbo should aspire to

Steve/David, next friday should be fine. WIll aim to get to David's for about 6pm - my be able to squeeze 5.30. Will give you a chance to remove/fit exhaust anyway. If I haven't had my brakes fitted by then I will bring them along. Can't see myself waiting that long though! Want to get the geometry sorted as well, so need to visit a garage.

Red face

I think David is the scariest 'modder' - he's only driven it 10 metres and he is already planning to scrap it

Cool

Emma, my wife, would like to apologise if she seemed bored and tired on Monday.

She was tired as she had been out in the garden all day with Tom, our eldest son who is getting to be a handful, and we had had a busy weekend working on the house.

She said she found it very interesting and thought that there was some very technical stuff being talked about which she did not know a great deal about. In her wisdon she decided to sit and listen and try and learn/understand.

Thats a bit like me when she starts talking to her friends about horses.

Thanks for your honesty Emma, suppose its better than you interrupting with irrelevant comments

Trained her well you see
