Question

I got an email with a word document attached giving me details of the day. Perhaps this is the "pack" they were on about?

i just read my "pack" and it says this is on the Bedford Autodrome South West Circuit, not the full GT circuit as advertised.

I AM NOT HAPPY!

Don't worry John, I queried this with Lisa, it is the full GT circuit we're doing, but the only map she had was of the south west one.

Hi Guys

I have had a few emails regarding the Bedford Info Pack which I sent out the other day.

1. The Indeminity Forms will be available on the day which you will all need to fill in.

2. The day is the full GT circuit.

3. 32 cars will be allowed on the track at any one time.

4. Bedford passenger passes will be available to buy on the day.

I hope that has answered all of your questions.

See you all next Saturday.

Regards

Lisa

Question

Query

Although I am not running my car on track, I will be coming down with my missus and a friend in tow in his TT. Main reason for coming down is to have some new tyres fitted by Tyres Northampson , and also to take a look at what goes on on track days, how to get involved, and maybe sqeeze a lift on track with someone, particularly other STi 7 owners with PPP, T5NYW

Then, who knows, next track day I might actually get round to booking it and having a go myself...

Can anyone confirm the damage to pockets for spectating etc....?

Cheers

YorkshireSimon

If you're passengering, bring a helmet, Bedford charge quite a whack for hiring them, and there might not be a dry one lying around! You'll find that everyone is usually happy to take passengers, me included.

Cool

Thanks guys for the offers... T5NYW, no problem, I thought you might be taking it easy out there Yeah right!!

Will be nice to meet some people from the south...

Maybe I should book myself onto track, prior to getting my tyres changed by TN. My fronts are like slicks at the minute so would be quite useful on track..

Will be there about 10ish, see you all there...

Cheers

Blue,
Certainly wasn't my fault either as the pedals on my side didn't work and the playskool steering wheel came unstuck as we hit the tyre wall. LOL

Exclamation

just a note on insurance whilst on track.

Standard Egger Lawson policies exclude engine and transmition damage due to impact damage, so if you have a frontal and damage the engine, you have to pay for the engine yourself.

You can have engine/transmition cover added at an aditional cost.

My cover is 11K, 1.25K excess, including engine impact cover for £126

Excluding engine cover (standard terms) it was £105.
