Northern Meet 7
Cheers for the organising MTR .. had a fantastic day out on some superb roads. Thanks to me mate Robbo for letting me co-drive his MY00 Impreza. And thanks to Ade's mate (oops, forgot your name mate!) for the Evo 7 'demo'
Most impressed with Ade's Smart that made the whole route at Scooby speeds, and with the sneak preview of the MY04 at Birch services .. looks kinda like a Pug 405 to me though!
Just slightly spoiled by some plainly daft driving from a couple of people who maybe let the adrenaline flow a little too freely ...
Anyway, I've posted a few attempts at pics up here. Looking forward to the next meet!

Had a top day out, so big thanks to MTR once again. Big thanks to Dales for the lift, and of course to Mellow - you know why.
I am changing allegiance

Have to say, driver of the day goes to Mellow, for safe driving and overtaking.
********* of the day go to the obvious trio. It aint big or clever to nearly run innocent people off the road, when they are on their Sunday run, or to overtake 2 cars from the traffic lights

Another "******** of the day" award goes to the v*ctra driver "on a mission" to pass every scoob he could by overtaking on blind bends, double whites etc (the only mission he's on is to an early grave and the quicker the better for the rest of us ). BTW we let him think he'd got past us all as we turned off for Strines - bet he thought he was so wonderful...
apart from that, a good day MTR - some "interesting" twisty bits not to be taken one handed (trying to navigate with only me in the car b4 somebody suggests anything else
)

many thanks for a great run round the moors, thought the police had closed the road at first and was glad it was only a bike run.dont know how many folk would be keen for an earlier start but i think most of our group would like a 9am ish next time.
sensible driving by those in our group, not so the plonker who gravel rashed me and forced us to let him in so that he didnt ram the onncoming cars!
rant over roll on the next one MDM

Dream Weaver - I guess I was the one behind you when we both got passed by the P1 at the lights - not big, not clever etc etc - I was in the Bugeye 01 with SS exhaust - both me and my navigator (7 year old little girl) enjoyed the run out - thanks to MTR for organising!
Also thanks to the group of three that I was able to follow start to finish - meant the fact that my co-passenger can't read that well didn't spoil the enjoyment - red scooby in the lead followed by P1 followed by silver w reg (DW I presume)- thanks again!
See you next time out!

Tom - no worries mate, we did have an excellent group. Our group was Craft (red car), MDM (P1), Dales (Silver) and you behind us. I was just the passenger in the silver MY00 with Dales driving (only have an MR2).
