Hiya Flat!
was the trackday a club audi day?
How do the prices compare to sidc days and are they frequent??
im on my 5th Audi so ive got hords of volkswagen/Audi car mags dating back to 1987, and the audi driver mags from there first issue!
i stopped buying it when i bought the scoob, went to buying banzai! different read i must add.!
i did notice one or two trackdays in the mags, but never took much notice, but the scoob has given me the trackday bug.
ive even considered getting a old 8V glof gti which are better to tune than the 16V, sticking some coilovers and ive got slicks to fit and doing some of the easytrackdays as you get a real mixture of vehicles.
Do you get any dubs at the audi days?

You have Club Audi and the Audi Owners Club that are 'proper' clubs rather than web / bulletin boards like Audisport.net( or is that Audinet now).
Now that I've sold my Audi and you asked for my opinion !
Depends what you want - Audinet is more youth / S3 / S4 / tuning driven and friendly.
Club Audi a bit more staid and mature but have some good organised events like the sprint day at Curborough - excellent as one car on the track at once - my diesel quat was v quick around there !
Audi owners club - mixed feelings, bit disorganised, arrange 4wd rolling road days for £20 etc
Helps ?
