i already have last week following my dealer being told on several occasions that the brakes would definitely be arriving in the next few days,i am just a trusting soul who expects people to tell me the truth and not keep fobbing me off

barge - The whole point of the post was that when people order some parts and are told a delivbery date, then thats when you EXPECT the parts to be delivered. If you pay your money you want the best service possible. People dont like having to chase up the company for there parts. IMO I expect that if I have been told a delivery date (and its not met) I would expect to be notified and apologised to and given a new delivery date. Ok in the real world this doesnt happen with most companies but its what we expect. Its called good customer service and if you recive it then you will be happy to part with your money there again.
lol Sorry for the rant

Thumbs down

---MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I've been trying to get Group N brake kit fitted ....its been cancelled three times. The first time was on the day of fitting and being self-employed I was p****d off big time. Today I was in for a full exhaust system. I drove into London (80 miles) to work with the intention of having exhaust fitted this afternoon....I have just received a phone call saying the are out of stock (down pipe).

Given the five weeks of frustration I have cancelled my complete order which in total was worth about £1400.

Any alternative suggestions for parts/reliable service for the above would be graetly appreciated

TJ

Thumbs up

Scoobysport have fitted most of the mods to my Terzo (excluding the handeling stuff done by PowerStation) thats a full de-cat, group N+ kit, ITG filter & Cibies.

Its nearly a 150 mile round trip to SS but I do feel well looked after and I haven't had any problems (except the deactivation kit of the Cibies which I haven't phoned up about yet )

Doug,

I'm with you on this one mate. It's as if some suppliers, whether it's car parts or anything else, make up delivery dates off the top of their heads. They don't seem to realise how annoying it is to be kept waiting any longer than initially agreed.

As for the explainations/excuses, well there's nothing more unprofessional than passing the buck. A new company might have teething problems, but one that's been around for a while should be able to source their products from reliable suppliers. If they fail to do this then they are simply not trying hard enough in my opinion.

If a company fails to deliver, take your hard earned elsewhere.
