Its the principle. I dont mind spending the money, I just want to know what Im getting, and the way my investments are going this week my £1000 will be worth £300 next month, maybe I should invest it in my car.

Dave... it might have been their demo, so that they could quote repeatable torque figures on this one
Pete - naughty, naughty Anyway, it wasn't their demo.....

THIS IS NOT FAIR!!! There's no real tuning that can be done to the JDMSTi as no replacement ECU has been perfected yet.I'm going to end up with a car slower than you UK boyz!!!!!
Urm so what? it's about time for someone like Prodrive to show their skills....you took a RISK buying a Jap model, and it may not turn out to be for the better.

Such is life

Yes Dave T-S.... it still stings...

Apparently Prodive will issue a free tub of vaseline with the PPP so you can "lube it up" before IM f**k you up the *** on delivery dates...

Good luck guys I really hope it makes as big a difference as it did to my MY01!!!!

Korky is off to his dealer to put his deposit down on Friday. You have to take advantage of six month's interest free credit on the old plastic!

By Christmas I should have the PPP!

My dealer said "No deposit required, £1000 is Dealers deposit on old ECU with Prodrive" If you wish to keep oringinal ECU you'd need to pay the £1000.

And as I said in previuos threads mine has been on order against my VIN No. since Mid April so form a queue boys

Does anyone actually have any figures? Or when is someone actually getting one fitted?

I could wander down to my dealer today and order a PPP it seems, but as yet nobody has any actual confirmation as to what my £1995 will get me in terms of power and more importantly torque lower down the range. Am I the only person who thinks this?

Got an email from an account manager for Prodrive Europe. PPP will not be sold through Subaru Switzerland but will be shipped direct to me when available ( late Aug ). Will void my Engine warranty ( not a recognised product by Subaru here in cheese and chocolate country ) and he suggested taking out third party engine insurance?? he gave figures 300+ BHp and "just over" 400 Nm (Its nothing new I know ).

So if it voids my Warranty anyway I may as well just wait for a "real" chip to come on the market and get engine insurance...

Question

Tony
Who said anything about Friday

Probably only do mine - a bit extravagant to do both in view of having two houses, two mortgages and a bridging loan right now
