Guy I work with discovered 12 boxed (unopened) figures his dad had bought for him years ago. I'm not sure which ones they are but they're not the common or garden R2D2 or Luke Skywalker. He put one up for sale on Ebay to see it was worth anything - he got £26. He's since sold another couple - one for £50, the other a bit less. He's seen a magazine article which suggests that one figure he has is likely to fetch about £400. He's now havinng a crisis of concience - should he (a) tell his Dad and (b) should he give him a cut! The figures cost £1.54 each new apparently.

Katana - don't talk to me about He-Man
Had the lot as well as some centurians stuff and like a stupid kid sold it for a tenner. I almost cried when I heard how much He-Mans battletank is worth now

I thought the Jawa with a cloth cape was worth more, sorry guys.
It was good to see the original twelve figures again in their packaging, brought back some good memories.

My old man is the MD of an injection moulding factory that used to make 70% of the millenium falcon. He aslo made action man deathslide towers, but not the platform at the top.
This meant every christmas I would get 3 lots of 70-80 % of a really cool toy. Never did have the blue chessboard in the falcon....deprived childhood I reckon

The Stormtrooper rifle too. Had one as a kid but would love another. But it's one of those things that just won't be like it was as a youngen and it craps on your best memories.
Like when I recently bought the episode of the Muppet Show on DVD where Mark Hamill, C3PO and R2 turn up and fool around a bit

I've still got my Airfix "Flight Deck" game...
Anyway, I had a carry case shaped like Darth Vaders' face, that you could put all the figures in. I believe that's worth a bit now...
Luckily my Mum was passing a charity shop, back in the early 80s and thought it'd make a good birthday present, I think it cost a tenner! Does anyone know how much the case is worth? :Smug:

Ive found my original Gammorean Gaurd....saw it in the pic and remembered I had one! My two year old plays with it.
The rest, and I had most of the ones you show, went to a cousin..along with some obscure smaller vehicles that I didnt remember seeing in the films...and he hasnt got a clue what happeened to them. He inherited my "Starbird" as well...
