That seems fair enough, best of three for all of us, we could arrange a race up the strip at the 'head but we would have to watch out for all the dog walkers ; ) only joking. When is the next non-mag day being held like???

As far as i am aware the car is putting out about 250bhp or there abouts, never had it on the rollers before but i am thinking about tuning it up a little more anyway, especially after last weekend.

So if you want a before and after race then that would be cool as well..

i've managed 9runs on a really really busy day tho... its just the heat building up waiting that will kill the times!

A standard mk3 Golf GTI 16v puts out about 150bhp... I've got an exhaust & filter so probably have... er, 152bhp!! Damn.

after that.... remove the last CAT, hit around 18psi... blow the turbos! then i'll be needing some more costly additions

Oh dear adam, why don't you just stick with what you have then buy yourself a proper car like vectra 2.0 gls hatch nice and cheap to insure, good mpg with resonable performance ; )

I will look at getting the decat again also might see about getting the boost upped but i don't know what else you need to do in order to keep things sweet...

Foz01 is selling a set of Audi TT wheels, not standard ones, they are 17's Highly polished phat five spoks and they look so good on the Mk3 golf, you should give him a mail, coz they look nay bad. He lives at my house at the weekends, offer him six hunner and they are yours, they are immaculate..

Boyner - yeah saw the ad on clubgti but I only got my wheels a couple of months ago so it a no from me! Also, not spending any more on the Golf as a proper "fast" car is looming once I get a bit of cash together...

A bit of a sleeper wouild be the new leon cupra R- Exactly the same engine as mine- which can be chipped to 270 bhp with ease without the weight ofthe 4WD system, assuming it has a decent traction control system would be fuggin quick!

I did get a very crap start tho.... raced 3 scoobs that day i think... got beat by them all!!!

then raced a blue one last time (mid june) and beat him 4 out of 5 or something

Foz - no idea at the mo... want a scoob, but the running costs seem quite high... same with an Evo... I guess I'll just see when the cash comes together!
