On the 6th May is one of the big Crail Days of the Year. Max Power Mag (ok....stop laughing!!???) Max power Ladies (thought that would grab your attention!!) and a lot of related tuning companies will be showing their wares...
The Scottish section of the Lancer club will be coming along, if I can get as many people organised in time. That'll probably mean three of us!!
Dave Brown will be leading a convoy from the North and I'll be arranging to meet the southern'rs at the MacD's (Forth Bridge)...well it wouldn't be a meet, without meeting there would it??
So who is up for some clutch burning, lady watching, burger eating...oh, and it'll probably snow!!!

The northern lot are meeting at McD's in Perth around 10am.Then a wee blast down the M90 to meet the southern lot at Granada Services, Kinross around 11am.
I have planned a nice backroad route to Crail...details on the day.

Jamie, your correct, the main event is the timed quarter mile track, along with a drift oval for sliding sidey-ways.
There is always a good selection of cars on show from Novas to Skylines.
It's not everyones cup of tea' but it is good fun if you get involved.

Yer' right. We'll meet at MacD's around 09:30ish then head to kinross the back o' ten.
I think Crail will go on to around 5pm'ish. With Max Power being there it may be later?!!

Dougie, as above, 09:30 seems to be a safe bet. We'll leave after 10:00 and travel to Kinross for just before 11:00.

Anyone heard from Sam Elassar lately.Last time I spoke to him on here, he seemed interested in coming along to a Crail event.
I dont have his e-mail, does someone want to give him a shout please

They usually shut the 1/4 mile strip around 5pm, then everyone heads down to the oval to watch the action.Subaru's doing 'Victory Donuts' as advertised on Radio Tay, wonder who that would be

Spoke to willie about getting a display area for us.He said if some of us were to arrive early, it would be easier to pick a spot for us all to park up.can i leave this one in your hands M8, the convoy should arrive around 12.BTW Yahoo is **** up, hence the post ere

I got an E-mail from Sam a couple of days ago, and he isn't going to Crail.
I'll be bringing the Scoob with me.
Dougie, complete with new front tyres!!!! They were even worse on the inside edges.

I reckon the grass parking area & the strip entrance bit will be chokka. How about between the tyre chicane & the toilet blocks, plenty room there for a big line up of cars. Or the wee bit of runway behind the toilet blocks (where you had your gearbox mishap)? There should be about 20 cars but maybe more, we'll give you a phone when we leave Kinross & let you know how many.
