Shame I'm too late to join the fun! Would have enjoyed taking the slow black Skoda out for a bit of a spin. Still got 2 blown dampers, but it would have been nice to go out and prevent Mellow from being the slowest on the track

PS Are there any spaces for a slow black Skoda?

 

In all seriousness though....bring on any evo or subaru i promise to race to the finish and win.

Is there a trophy and champagne ?

Do we have heats ?

I'm now thinking of hiring a 40ft lorry to bring my baby in and some mechanics who can tweak my car here and there if needs be.

I have a spare exhaust as well which is a quicker one that I may try.

I'm off soon to buy some new race gear so I look good as well.

So what spec is this awesome motor of yours? I've never been in a really fast one, only Mellows and Gossys, and they both drive like old ladies! Yours really must be some machine and I can't wait to see it, especially as you are such a good driver. Ever tried an Atom?

I'm not going because I'm scared of all the big brutal Wrx's that would be flying past me , as usual,particularly as the P1gly WR still needs to complete the Pro Pro Pro engine management system development programme and have it's Koni's fitted, although I shall be on track at some place called Sillystone Gp circuit (I think that's how it's spelled) on the 29th July if you'd like to join me there.

Having said all that, I'm not sure I like your tone or the cut of your jib, so I bite my thumb at you , sir , and demand satisfaction. Why don't we meet behind my school bike sheds and I'll give you a right drubbing.

 

Hello Fat Boy, if your name is anything to go by we can meet anywhere, I'll be a faster runner than you as well as a faster driver. There are those that let their actions speak louder than words. Get on the race track if you are upto it in your dads old car. (Thats provided your feet reach the pedals and you can get off your homework)

Are you sure you have a real, full scale car? You know they don't allow people without driving licences on track, nor radio controlled cars. I do realise they allow petrol powered ones on, but they do have to be driveable ones, not small scale models

Hello TaviaRS. bring your skada along. Is it one of the new fast ones? What colour is it? Theres evos, motorbikes, skyline and even a hearse going so you should be OK.
I don't think Mellow Yellow will be fast as he's just had a new engine in his car so is still running it in, imagine if Cloin McRae did that, crazy don't you think.
Who is Blade? What car does he have?

BTW, Fastest. Did you notice that the Evo at the lights had no driver. Thats because it was parked

SimonEvoExtreme, I take it you have an evo. The one at the lights definately had a driver. It was a red one with some writing on it and white go faster stripes (that didn't make him go any faster). What colour is your car?

The Fastest, no, as I said, mine is a slow black Skoda and I do drive it very gently, after all it is a Skoda and I couldn't hope to keep up with your mighty WRX. Don't think they'd let me on for 2 reasons, 1, it ain't a scoob, 2 They don't need a mobile chicane!

Chris, if I come up can I have a couple of laps? Provided you aren't playing with Blade at the time!

 

Fastest - look at it from the point of view of the Evo driver. A very boring, standard new age WRX pulls up next to you at the lights. There is a prat in it trying to challenge you to a race even though he should know that in that car he has no chance. Question - can you be bothered? Answer - NO.

Don't get me wrong. i have had some great bits of fun with Scoobies, but mainly those with letters like RA on the back of the car! Which reminds me. Mellow, when are you going to organise another of your little outings. SuperL had such a great time (puncture aside) that I would love to be invited

 

Tavia if you do come they are leting both non scoobs and non sidc owners on as you should be aware the fatboy and the fastest aint sidc members

In truth though there will be some serious bits of EVO kit out there, blades is awesome and for sure will be the car to watch, there's also a guy called Dave in a silver 6 who can peddle well around a track, these are I think going to be the main attraction around the track.....I'll just give it some entertainment factor...I've never had so much fun in a motor....sideways into and out of most corners....grinning from ear to ear

We are having a camping trip 13th and 14th July next with excellent re-runs of the routes that we did last year (which Julian and I were together on ) Check out the Northern board for details.....if you don't fancy camping there are hotels etc...or just the Saturday or Sunday run ? It's based up in the Lakes

You won't be getting your old motor fast enough if its not run in yet.

We won't let the others get in our way though.

Hello Jon1T, thats a great idea. What coluour is your WRX, mines rally car blue. Bet mines newer than yours though - 6 days old now.

Johnfelstead - ace - we can all go sideways together. I'll tell you what though - I bet I can get most sideways for longest. Isn't it wierd how nearly everyone on here has a blue car? Don't worry about getting out of my way, I'll find a way round you one way or another, you just have fun.

TF - mines a large silver one - it looks like we've both gone for the two rarest WRX colours - Silver and rally blue - so we are both men of taste and style.

Our will stand out from all the mica red and green Subaru's that all the sheep buy. Slver and blue ones are faster as standard as well - did you know that - I think it was in the brochure somewhere.

 

Lord lucan....the white 6 you're mentioning I'm sure will be blades ! 440 bhp and over 400 lbs of torque...with handling to match

TF be careful how you go....6 days of ownership...you covered the run in period yourself yet If not there's plenty of helpful peeps who will be more than willing to change your oil for you on the day Oh and walk the walk you say....Mmmmmmm...I loves a challenge Aneka !
