ITG foam filter isn't oil coated. It's coated with something, but it's more of a gel, and it's not sucked throught the filter like oil on cotton. Foam is about 25mm thick, cotton filter about 0.5mm.

As far as I, and just about every tuner/vendor I have spoken to, the ITG panel is recommended as a safe alternative to the paper filter or an induction kit.

The ITG isn't oil its a foam filter with polymer resin.

Also a MAF for the whole unit is about that but you can buy just the meter part for about 60-70 quid.

Thumbs up

I've had mine on the car for eight months and wouldn't use anything else

I had a little trouble with the MAF before and got away with cleaning it (cotton buds & Tric.)

It has not been a problem since I got the ITG fitted.

GO ON Charlie my son.........get in there

See me, well over a year with ITG and no resonator. Opened my Airbox the other day, pulled out a few pine needles and the like, moths etc but i figure, what the hell, that's what it is there for.

Not a single problem on my car (Intake related that is, squeaks and rattles and a dodgy window don't count ) and it's coming upto it's 30,000 mile stage

Stick one in dude, what's the worst that can happen???? DOOOCTOOOR PEPPER hahahaha
