I'll be heading down Sunday morning, around 7.30. I'll be in a silver STI wagon, MY94, probably with a Gecko Motorsport banner somewhere on the car. I'll be stopping off at the services, but just to drive in and out to see whats what.

Does any one have a spare battery clamp as my Impreza STI does not have one on. Ive looked and there doesnt seem that there is anyhting to secure one on to. How do they fit. I have momenterily strapped it in securley but would prefer a bracket. I hope they dont pull me on it when they scrutineer car.

Oi! Nick Adams, are you talking to me?

Have just heard that my car is in Belgium. I have to send the cash before next weekend because the dealer goes on holiday then It then has to have alarm, tracker etc. fitted and delivery, registration etc.. I should be driving around in about 2 weeks time but too late to make SIDC at Donno (and have a house to paint). Enjoy yourselves.

While I'm here: can you recommend a dealer to buy locking nuts etc., I know you don't approve of Monks Heath or Jones. Anyone closer than Robinsons?

P.S. Speedster = Porsche, Speedking = Deep Purple (ask your Dad)

 

Speedking,go to the new dealers in Widnes (Mainland) its the old Citroen dealers near Morrisons he is now Subaru and Isuzu and they seem very good.

Nick how many are meeting at services tomorrow??

Ive just serviced my STI wiith Castrol-RS and fitted a battery clamp after all. She is perring and ready to go, the car is too! Well hope weather is kind and c u all tomorrow morning.
