What would you value this JDM car at, it's one i was considering.

Legal reasons this is purely fictitious.

In Brum we have a lot of drug dealers and money launderers. Like a lot and the easiest way to cover it up is to be a trader, hire car place etc. You rented out that lambo for £5k everyday cash wow. So the car will be shared by a group of lads and depending on the day will have a different plate. The work is hardly ever carried out by who they say it is and miles are often clocked back too. Remember the business doesn't have to make money from selling cars so they can sit on them for years on end. Now this particular one I'm not sure if it was partially stripped for parts and then thrown back together. But it did have a front end knock hence why the bumper was changed.

Can't be sure though because numberplates keep changing.

i thought it had a front end bump mate, if you zoomed in on the bonnet it was wonk3y as f*.k 👍

It's not for sale anymore, it's been taken down. Plenty didn't add up with it, when i got no reply to a few questions i wanted to ask via message on ebay in the past it told me pretty much all i needed to know.

Its easy to say but hard to do stop your heart ruling your head when it comes to scoobys.

Your list is very extensive mate but only you can say whats essential to you and what isn't. It sounds like you want it in blue. Thats fine, they aren't that common in the hatch from what I have seen but they are about. Then its forged again most hatchs have been forged so you could get both of them. Where it starts getting a bit harder is the wide arch kit you want, they are big in the states from what I have heard but literally non existent here in the UK. Thats something I think you will have to compromise on. Buy a good clean forged hatch in blue then add the bits you want to it. Budget is obviously the biggest one but if you want to come in under budget you might need to get some of the stuff done yourself. Set your limit and try to keep too it when buying. There is a massive difference from £12k to £30k. You end up going down a slippery slope where a car might be a touch better but not £8k better if you know what I mean. So far you have asked a load of questions and not jumped, thats good mate.

There will be massive differences of opinion so take a look at all thats been said and make your own mind up. But really get that list together first. You might have already shared it but just for a refresher then we can share any we find and potentially spot any issues before you buy.

I've learnt a lot in a short space of time, it's hard when you've been out of the Subaru scene for a while. I know in my mind what i want, from the advice i've been given i'm in a much better position now to work out what is value and what is not, what to avoid and to possibly look outside the box a bit more. Their are a lot of good owners on here, a lot will have made mistakes like we all have done in the past, they pass on the advice from those mistakes, plus their experience of these cars so if your willing to listen, like i have you hopefully don't make the same mistakes. I could have easily jumped the gun and been impatient, in the long run i know being patient is the right way.
