Do people go for European or JDM brands?
This will be my first Jap car, second really I had a Gen2 Honda Prelude as a second car few years ago, but I mean first performance Jap car (Hopefully a early WRX)
Now do people tend to stick to JDM brands when it comes to aftermarket parts ie exhausts, induction kits, intercoolers etc or do mix it up with European aftermarket parts?
Of course there is a price issue when it comes to JDM parts but do they tend to be the better performing/quality items?
Like I said Ive only ever had European cars in the past so Im totally new to the Jap scene

IMHO, go with what you like. My personal opinion is that a lot of JDM stuff is overpriced bling. However, I do have a lot of Aussie stuff on my Scoob - always works, well priced. And Autobahn88 front mount intercoolers which loads of people have are Chinese aren't they? Buy Japanese for crucial stuff - fuel pressure regulators, ECUs, injectors etc.

Some of the Jap stuff is top notch and worth every penny, some is overpriced bling.....Euro stuff tends to fall between the two, Aussi stuff is pricey here due to shipping costs, likewise US stuff (answer go to Florida on holiday, get the stuff shipped to you there and bring it back in your case!)
