haha, would definitely be an “in the garage on my own” job for me, I’m afraid.. “Spritely” 42 year old (how did that happen???) , but two kids make sure I’m never spending that kind of money on the wrx 😞

to do a good job still cost a few quid just in refurbishing parts and buying new bushes and stuff ,,, its not just a coat of underseal and think that covers it all lol

Oh I know mate. A lot of the cost is due to labour intensity though and with the amount of labour required you can understand the prices for a drive in drive out job. But looks like @Henrik has been doing his homework plus seems good at working on his car. I reckon he could tackle it and I wouldn't have been surprised if you got stuck in Steve but better to rest up then making yourself worse.

With the price of paint at the minute it would probably cost a lot more to do now though if you were to get a quote or even do it yourself.

no plans for it power wise mate ,, plan is to sell up once its completely ready , same with my type R ,,, so it will just leave me with the WRC build and I can focus on that over the next couple of years to get it sorted , and I can also buy something easier to live with as driving the subarus is getting harder for me these days lol

A solid 350hp would make this a very fun car! Im hearing you on the comfort side, I’m looking at selling one of my spec c’s next month to get something a bit more practical.

Underside is now finished ,, there are still one or two paint imperfections on the top half that I’m not happy with so looking like it’s back off to the bodyshop to be corrected but at least we are partly finished now lol
