yeah it’s a widetrack, I’m not going to lie mate but for the last couple days I’ve been browsing the alloy wheels site and although there’s some nice wheels I don’t think they look better than my white ones....I like the look of rota force and pro R but still not settled on a wheel. The search continues....

Hello people, my car was serviced at scoobyclinic in December gone, major service where EVERYTHING was changed including cam belt, idlers even pollen filter but since it’s only running 330bhp and gets driven very sympathetically is it overkill to get it serviced every 6 months instead of 12 months? She’s only done 900 miles since December. Cheers people.

yes mate, the car had been sat in my garage for 18 months so I made sure that everything got changed. Every fluid that can be changed was changed

Hello all, been a while since I last posted about my car . Unfortunately I went and viewed a stage 3 golf r and was interested in a 2015 bmw 135i running 450bh...both these cars were lovely, luxurious and comfortable and would smoke my Subaru but the truth is I cannot part with my Subaru..I was going to get 9 grand part ex for mine but the truth of the matter is I cannot part with it. Whenever I take it out people stop and stare and I never see blobs or hawks around wirral or Liverpool. I feel bad about even contemplating getting rid so she’s going to scoobyclinic for major upgrades...anyone in the same boat? I had a brain fart and thought of the luxurious heated seats, comfortable ride etc simply because my mates have a stage 2 golf r and a 375bhp montune focus...thank god I saw the light, my car will be dropped off at scoobyclinic in the next few weeks for the upgrades so I will post the results here. Cheers

Mate its like I keep saying, we getting old, scoobys aren't daily drivers any more so get a daily and don't bother going mad with the mods. Then jump in the scooby and remember why you put up with it lol. Its a car you don't see often and people really do stop and stare.

Thats why I run a bimmer, so comfortable and refuse to do anything major to it if you know what I mean. The fuel bills are much better too lol.

The burble and sounds, the feeling of how connected you are to the road with the knowledge it will try and kill you is just something you either get as a car enthusiast or just think car people are mental.

spot on mate, for me it’s the burble, sounds and looks....I drive like miss daisy 99% of the time as my son will be in the car with me. I work 6 days a week so it’s no daily as I have a work van but when I got out of my mates cars back into mine it just felt very old compared to them hence the brain fart. She’s going nowhere for a little while ✊
