Ha ive just looked at Roland Alsops website and they have spelt Carrillo wrong in more than one place they spelt Corrillo, i dont like that sort of thing its sloppy.
Dont get me wrong the engine has good oil pressure.
It was just the lenses and they were about £100 each with postage, i did buy a practice light unit but melted it in the oven ruining the light and the oven must have drifted off somewhere and left it in too long, this time i opted for the hot air gun.

Now this looks like a properly built boost bus! It looks super clean, those headlight lenses really do make a huge difference to refreshing up the front end.
Looks like you've went to town on fitting some proper nice parts to it.

Ive asked Abbey to write a few words about what they did with the map and ill post it up here . Did I mention its very loud !
Hey bud. I was wondering if Abbey ever came back to with anything on the map? Mine can occasionally be a little juddery at low speed and I think that may be to do with mapping.

And there was me thinking life begins at 40! 😂
I’m definitely an advocate of the stealth look myself, less is more on the exterior IMO.

Thanks very much, its running 580 ish Abbey say that they cant do any more with out the map sensor being changed i think its only running 1.7 bar but with that rotated set up you only need .5 of a bar to be really rolling the turbo is gtx3582 iirc, driving style makes up for the lag but for a big ish turbo its not laggy in my opinion.

Are you still using the standard map sensor? Max boost will be 1.6 bar safely on that. A 4 bar sensor is about £100 from ICP iirc. I am only on 11mm head studs so bumped mine up to 1.75bar and made an extra 30hp. Cheapest 30hp I ever made though! 😂

Im not entirely sure what map sensor i have apart from it says Denso on it, ive got a perrin omni 4 bar sensor which i bought from the clinic but like others its not been fitted because it cant get mapped due to corona.
Edit: plus transmission problems

Denso will be the standard one. There is some test data on these on the Perrin website, makes interesting reading if you like that sort of thing. It says 1.9 is around the max boost for these, I’m guessing that would get you close to 600hp peak power.

Do you think it needs more peak power?

It definitely doesn’t need more power. But no one ever complained about having more power 😂

I think ill nurse it for the time being , its just weird how most people complain of crunching between the gears and im just bunny hopping at slow speeds . ill probably do the engine and gearbox at the same time if money allows .

Mine bunny hops occasionally at low speeds. I put it down to the lightened flywheel and stiff clutch. It does feel the same as yours. My gearbox has a quarter of the mileage that yours has though!
