Ha ive just looked at Roland Alsops website and they have spelt Carrillo wrong in more than one place they spelt Corrillo, i dont like that sort of thing its sloppy.
Dont get me wrong the engine has good oil pressure.
It was just the lenses and they were about £100 each with postage, i did buy a practice light unit but melted it in the oven ruining the light and the oven must have drifted off somewhere and left it in too long, this time i opted for the hot air gun.

Now this looks like a properly built boost bus! It looks super clean, those headlight lenses really do make a huge difference to refreshing up the front end.
Looks like you've went to town on fitting some proper nice parts to it.

Its very fast for a small estate car , it is a bit more laggy but when im driving fast the gearing and the power works very well , say you change gear at 6k and grab the next gear it always lands with in the power band ready to go again , it seems to be a very good map and drives like a quick non turbo car off boost.
Ive asked Abbey to write a few words about what they did with the map and ill post it up here . Did I mention its very loud !

I’m definitely an advocate of the stealth look myself, less is more on the exterior IMO.

Thanks very much, its running 580 ish Abbey say that they cant do any more with out the map sensor being changed i think its only running 1.7 bar but with that rotated set up you only need .5 of a bar to be really rolling the turbo is gtx3582 iirc, driving style makes up for the lag but for a big ish turbo its not laggy in my opinion.

Denso will be the standard one. There is some test data on these on the Perrin website, makes interesting reading if you like that sort of thing. It says 1.9 is around the max boost for these, I’m guessing that would get you close to 600hp peak power.

Shame you cant really see it once everything is bolted back in but its one of those little things that makes life a bit better at the moment.
Teg sport have offerd a 10 day turn around on my gear box for around £1300 and carbon baulk rings for £40 each on iirc 4th 5th and 6th .

Seems reasonable, are you doing it or going to wait until it gives up?

Mine bunny hops occasionally at low speeds. I put it down to the lightened flywheel and stiff clutch. It does feel the same as yours. My gearbox has a quarter of the mileage that yours has though!
