It is a fair amount of work and you might like to consider an alternative possibility. Front Mount Intercooler new for around £500 which should give far lower charge temperatures.
Keep an eye on the Front Mount Intercooler group buy to see how successful the Hybrid Intercoolers are after some of us have them fitted.

where did you get the carbon alternator cover from?
Do they also exist for a later classic??

a friend imports cars from japan and it came from one of his cars, i am sure you can get them over here but not sure where from.
off the top of my head try MRO or put a post up in the styling section.

is it just as easyish to put a 03 top mount on a 93?
