I had my classic STI mapped twice by Andy (drove down from Aberdeen) and each time was a great experience. He really does take the time to explain what he is doing and the results each time were brilliant! Just a pity he no longer maps classics - I'd like another classic at some point and would be stumped for an alternative tbh!

Thanks for that. I'm not in a major rush as car is still off road suspension and headers to renew.

After chasing a similar power delivery and fun to drive experience I finally decided to get rid of my E92 M3 and get a Hawkeye.... "With the dodgy 2.5L", torque delivery made it quite a different drive to the original 2.0L, Anyway it was mapped already but booked it into Andy who, as stated this time took it away himself this time whilst I went to the café he altered the fuel at the top end as it was a little lean due to the RCM filter and gave the car a clean bill of health.

Anyway with the downshift blip and peace of mind Andy mapped the car I have been delighted since. I know little about mapping but he shared a lot of his knowledge and what would be my next moves for more power if I wished but appreciated the car was a garage queen and that I had taped up the paintwork where the sensor cables run .

Hope you enjoy the hatch post map, she looks great and sure it will be the best money you spend on the car.

Cheers
cheers mate, going in for a good drive today so can’t wait*

she’s a weekend toy anyway so plan on keeping her that way

That's what I've done sold my e90 m3 and ended up buying a hawk wrx sti that's been mapped by andy Forrest . Mines running 360bhp 420 torque . Don't regret getting rid of the m3 one bit the Hawk*is miles more fun faster and handles better .
