Ecu pin out diagram
i know that if you put an JDM V3/4 ECU into a 97/98 UK Car, you have to change the pins for crank- and camshaft sensor and fuel pump, cause of the immobilizer in the european cars...
does i have to do this too if an ESL board is installed in the JDM ECU that i want to install in an UK car? so for example: 6S STi V3 ECU with ESL daughterboard installed into an 98 UK car (8S ECU) .... does it start with the right map or does i have to resolder known the pins?

I've been speaking to Andy at esl through email. I've decided to go with esl but let him build it up to save the **** ache of messing about installing it.he is away after this Wednesday for a few days so it will get done when he is back
I'm pretty sure you could put an 8s base map on a 6s ecu, you'd still need to swap some pins tho to run a jdm ecu in a uk car.
Nice one Rick, you diy mapping or going for a pro map?
