You could always ask your mapper but I'm sure the answer would be no. ESL maps can't be locked so easy to view.
I'm willing to learn how to map and tweak the car over the years

Ah unless you mean als?
lc and als are 2 separate systems,I have my lc on all the time and als on a switch.

Edit: and both can be tweaked to be more or less aggressive if you wanted.

No does nothing to the brakes.
some late spark, enrich fuel, holds at the rpm you set it to,builds boost and off you go
doubt your 5 speed would last long tho?

I'm sure people have been over 300bhp but it's the torque that'll kill it,also 3rd gear is known for eating it's cogs at bigger power.
every car and driver are different so it's how long is a piece of string question really.

so I could make 300 and keep the torque down to save my box?

Could be mapped for less torque but less torque=less fun
uk box has longer gearing afaik so in theory you should be able to create a different power band which is easier on the gearbox.
BUT modifying and power increase always carry a risk of catastrophic damage lol
AND choose your mapper carefully
I have no recommendations btw.
