I want to point out now that one of the reasons for my post was to point out the fact that a scot can come on here to have a wind up and a joke at englands expense but in reverse its racism amd all the mary whitehouse wannabes come out of the closet.


One of the things I liked about this world cup was the way the opening ceremony reflected the fact that the world cup brings countrys a little close together a perfect exapmle being japan and korea. This is hardly the attitude of a hooligan as someone described me.

This is probably one of the worst brasil sides ever. they have obviously got great attacking skill but their defending is just plain amateurish and lazy how can this be considered good football. Only a girl would be silly enough to think they could beat england and we will find out tomorrow.

Difference between English Fans and Scottish Fans seems to me to be that Scottish Fans know their team is sh$te and don't expect to win.

As a result, when Scotland don't win, we have a party cos it was enough that we were even playing..LOL...

English fans seem to believe their team are gods, that they definately will win, and that the whole of the UK actually cares whether they do or not

As a result, when England don't win, they go on the rampage or you would think the world had come to an end.

A few simple facts:-

1) Few Scots, Welsh or Irish actually care how well England do, because we are sick to death of having it rammed down our throats 24/7.

2) Few in England seem to appreciate that

3) Its a fact of life in the UK that if England hadn't qualified and Scotland, Ireland and Wales had, there would be less media coverage than there is.

And you wonder why the Scots, Irish and Welsh get so pi$$ed off

I'm not a great football fan at the best of times. I for one will not be upset if England get beaten by Brazil for one simple reason.

To wipe that cocky and unhealthy bigoted attitude from Pete Lewis's posts (and presumably mindset).
