From running costs they are great, particularly if you're using home solar for charging!
For removing harmful emissions from city centers, also great, although fine particulates from brakes and tyres are still a huge problem.
But they are no real solution to saving the planet from climate change, particularly if you have a large BEV with few miles driving.

Two out of three aint bad. And it's the two I care the most about. I disagree with the third one but I'll let you have it, the better thing is driving second hand EV's if you're not clocking up mileage yourself.

Clever people. There was a massive influx of leased cars due to the tax benefits, some amazing bargains available on 3 year old cars. My next one will be a 3 year old, I only went new this time as the timing was perfect and I got a killer deal.

You made those numbers up but yeah subsidies do help. In the whole EU, the number of BEVs sold grew by just 1.3% but excluding Germany the increase was 9.4%

Yes, all the same, sales of EV's are growing and journalists are digging deep to find some sort of negative news to draw in suckers for add revenue.

Google US EV sales, there's a ton of data. Sales are increasing whether you like it or not.

I'm not spinning anything, you're believing what you want to believe. https://www.coxautoinc.com/market-in...-2024-ev-sales
Filled up 20-100% at a customers house today, very nice of them. Never been given free Petrol.

I haven't read all 50 pages but even I'm considering a mitsubishi phev. I like the 'up to' 30 mile range on the battery before the engine kicks in.

For my 12miles a day and charging on cheap rate (1am -.5am) it's slowly ticking boxes.
