The way I was thinking was that you put your dinner in the oven with foil and it cooks at 180+ degrees and doesn’t set on fire so putting foil under your bonnet probably won’t do any harm as it only gets to about 100 Ish degrees. Also I’ve had this stuff on my car for a couple of weeks now and and there’s been no adverse effects

The arch liners are for a blob - hawks are different.
I didn't realise this.

For me to change the fuel rail the inlet has to come off. I Didn't realise this.
With the hours it's going for me to tackle that I may as well fit paralle.

As for the cover, let us know how it goes and I'll do the same 🙃
May even go a blue or silver spray.

EFSHydrodip based in Northern Ireland. They’re on Instagram or Facebook. Excellent service. It was £230 but that included a collection and delivery service.

You're tried that C4 trim restorer then Johno i see, comes up great by the looks of itdoes it leave a Matt finish or a slightly Satin finish when it's buffed off? can't really tell by the pics, must say it certainly freshens up the plastic trim nicely, i may av to invest in some myself after seeing the difference it makes, sets the car off a treat fella.

probably more of a Matt finish but I put 2 coats on as when I looked this morning it wasn’t the greatest finish. Definitely improved the look for 20 odd quid mate

Not sure who ripped the clips out of the rubber strip at the back of my engine bay but everyone had a 'mint' one but I don't want a single rip if I'm buying.
opted for new and its lovely.

New shiny intercooler spacers after loosing one also installed.

mot next month and feel the red painted fog light bulb isn't bright enough. Upgraded to Led.

Photos don't really do it justice but it's much better.

Size of it.

Fitted D2 6 pots and 356mm disks on front last week.. difference is phenomenal.

i sourced some rear D2 six pots off here.. but apparently they are fronts not rear so defo don't fit unless i fitted 380mm to the back lol! So im tempted to just go 4 pot D2 and 330mm on rear which tbh will sit it nicely...

Red hazard light instead of the oem grey one.. small mod but looks cool imo..

finally i tried to fit the black subaru badge to back of my car but it wasnt quite sticking.. my 8 yr old kid suggested putting it inside.. and personally i think he was absolutely right 😀

next mods.. some rear brakes... suspension (meister R but contemplating BC)... and new anti roll bar bushes.
that should put it in a good place.. it'll certainly be capable i reckon after that lot

then looking into a 6 speed if i can fit it without needing to pull the oem hubs cos i really like the wheels lol

Its the little things mate

I run BCs and I know they get a lot of flack but its all in the set up, the difference can be night and day.

What 6 speed were you thinking, the non DCCD is commonly done without changing hubs but I'm sure you can do it with the DCCD version and still keep the same stud pattern just can't remember the other bits that need changing to accommodate.

nowt little about dem brakes 🤣👍🏽 stops insane even at 30% braking.. just how the skylines i used to own were so its much nicer esp with this being a bloody heavy car for its relatively small size by today standards. Rears will help stop the nose diving but need to get more cash in first.. it's on its way lol!

i was thinking non dccd as that seems to be the best bet from what i read regarding hubs which really i would like to keep.. if only cos i have one seriously sexy set of wheels that i got for a song price.. i dont want to faff on getting all new again and all the hub swap hoohah!
Cheers for the input tho i started a new thread on it so im hoping i can find a way to make it happen 👍🏽
