I've fitted white line front 22mm and rear 24 antiroll bars both adjustable and a heavy duty rear mount, new exhaust hangers, engine pitch mount by Fuji racing and 2 Perrin wing stiffies, there was one bolt on the rear ARB mount just below the fuel filler pipe that was rusty and rounding was a right b*****d to get out

Default Mirror flap

while bashing my head against a wall with relays I found this flap on a wagon being stripped. Sits above the rear veiw mirror to block sun light passing through the gap.

a free result.

my lower rad pipe has felt soft since owning the car and once I saw it weap I wanted to change to silicone.

Changed both rad pipes to Fuji racing ones. Both needed trimming (trimmed several times to ensure the right amount was removed)

Coolant changed.

You've got the rad caps on wrong mate, the mishimoto one should be on the metal header tank and your original round radiator one should be fitted to the mishimoto radiator

That one is basically the same as the mishimoto one being 1.3 bar .
so yes same principle.

One of my pas pipes started to weap and on closer inspection 2 had cracks around the edges.
Ordered from Amber performance with a 10wk wait and 5wks later they sent me the wrong ones.

Another delay and the right pipes and all is good.
One photo shows a kink but adjusted and working a treat.
*cling film keeps them clean while installing.

Engine dress up bolts installed.
Still need to change the earth bolts to stainless steel and the ones for the bonnet lifters but they will get done when I fit the lifters.
Are the earth ones M12

Nice engine bay Robsey, just a couple of questions , i have been told you should never put a 1.3 bar rad cap on the expansion tank just on the radiator, is this true? and also the bonnet lifters can distort the alloy bonnet of the STI, again any views on this please, i quite fancy the lifters on mine, Thanks

Thank you. It's really filthy at the minute.

Such confusion. I originally had it on the rad but was told it needs to go on the top as per the instructions in the box. ( I didnt read them)
So I've put it there. I am tempted to bin it and buy oem just to ensure the correct pressures are there.

I feel my bonnet is steel ( will check in the morning) but good lifters would be soft enough to work safely.
Good Shout though.
