Finally able to use my arm I've fitted the mudflaps, removed the hole for an ECU monitor and temporary put a gauge pod and gauges until I get the wires.
Installed a pioneer stereo with the plan to install an under seat sub, amp and rear camera.
Only annoying thing is I like a CD player, got confused and bought the better spec non CD player version
And I've gone all pigged up
I don't know if because I've not polished the car since owning it or I've been unlucky since owning the car but there's now a scrape on the front and rear which were not there when I got the car. - I doubt they were there when purchased as I like to think I have an eye to spot damage but hopefully they will mop out.
I never thought so but as he pops up like a boil on your *** (like fawor did) I'm not so sure now.
He is a bit of a hypocrite as he calls others for adding styling bits to their cars and slates pre-wide track cars and xxr wheels
yet that's what he used to have, a pre wide-track that had xxr wheels (carbon dipped or summat) with stick on wide-track arches and a spec c roof vent.
The alarm that came with the car would always accidentally unlock due to the super sensitive key thob.
Turned out my car had 4 different alarm systems wired into it which have now all been upgrade.
Obviously I wont be saying what frog style eagle system I went for.
Looking good, will you be fitting harnesses as well or just sticking with belts?
Im not sure to be honest just yet mate!. I’m gonna see how I go with the belts for a bit and make a decision then. I like that takata harnesses but they are very expensive.
I don't know to be honest. I was working on them from 930am till 7pm non stop. I had to trim the front hubs for the ap brackets, flush all the fluid ect. Have only driven it around the block to see if they were working ( and to get beer). Have to do 300 miles in it now before I can bed the pads in. I think the biggest difference will be the bigger disks and pfz pads over the normal disks and pads that came off. Gonna take it out tomorrow will keep you posted
I thought i did well last weekend by jacking my classic up and taking the alloys off as the rubbers were dried and cracked. Suppose leaving her for 2 years sitting on my drive didn't help.
Great minds! also fitted grilles, Prodrive top & bottom in matt black, must admit had a sweat on drilling the holes....... just needs a spoiler now to finish the front end off.......
It looked much better imagining it in my head.
I must admit, I wasn't as excited as I thought I would be when seeing the final result for the first time.
The next exterior mod in line are the Morette headlights which should complete the look (or at least so I hope).
So time will tell if the mesh grille was a right move or not.
