Where does the exhaust exit now then? I'm looking at the pictures and it's not obvious in any of them. I would assume it's to one side of the front bumper?

It currently only has the down pipe fitted, a 3.5" exhaust following the OEM route is to be fabricated soon.

Thinking out loud: I think the wider powerband is the effect of equal length headers in general & not specific to the front mounted turbo design.

Nope, it's down to the length of the headers between the engine and turbo. The shorter the headers, the higher the kinetic energy of the gas is which subsequently reduces lag and increases power band.

Equal/unequal aside, the reason for positioning the turbo at the front is to reduce the overall header pipework length which in turn should spool the bigger turbo faster.

Ah that would explain it then. Hadn't remembered seeing one in your pictures. Lol.

Whilst browsing eBay the other night, I came across a KSTECH bonnet vent and thought it’d be a good purchase;

Hopefully I’ve covered all bases, another 2 weeks until we find out.

It is currently away having an exhaust fabricated, thankfully someone cancelled thus they were able to get it in before the original end of September date, the neighbours should be a little happier when it comes back.

Made a start on a headlight air intake yesterday, needs a tidy up and an insert when it comes back.

Did you cut that section out of the headlight?

A mate of mine wanted an air intake through the headlight similar to that, the best way we came up with was to drill straight through it with a 3" holesaw & then seal in a length of 3" acrylic tube to keep it water tight.

I did the same with my last one; sealed using a trumpet and hose. I’m not too fussed with this one as it’s a spare light that’ll be used occasionally, I still have the original. I’ll tidy up the cut out and fit an insert at a later date.

100 miles clocked up so far over the last couple of days, It currently has a 5k rpm rev limit and 0.5bar boost map.

Booked in tomorrow for a mapping session on the dyno

What are your thoughts now you've had it sorted for a while Harry & what does it spool like with the front mount setup?

Feel free to add more pics
