Get the CSA, they aren't human, they can't be reasoned with, they can't feel pain.
Without a shadow of a doubt the most horrific organisation a person could have the misfortune to deal with.
I'd wager he'd be begging you to make a private arrangement after only one call from them.
But I would add as there are deadbeat dads there are twice the amount of single mums who know how to play the system.
If he wants nothing to do with the child then in all honesty you don't want your child having anything to do with him as he sounds like a ****.

which is why I stated I'm on the newer system 
Just checked and it was March 2003 the system I was on was brought in.I can only assume you were both on the older 'make it up as they go along system' as my partners earnings have not been taken into account, not her ex's new partners earnings either. The system i was on took a set % of your wage per child.
