I always taught the limiter was removed after map
I live just on the Mexican border and I have regular 1.7 bar / 250kph pulls no issues

Haha

I was amazed how many parts of Mexico look like Telford

Will get on to TDR about the limiter for Thursday.

Drove past on my way to Liverpool yesterday and back today. He left the limiter on mine too! Did you just have fault cleared, or a map tweak?
I'm thinking of having the Ecutek map myself. Also, I would really like to hear that H and S exhaust, as considering a straighter exhaust and sports cat...H and S or Invidia. Tomei too loud, possibly.

Just the fault cleared at Chevron buddy as they wanted to put the EcuTek on it. Fault is back again now so won't be hammering it until map tweak on Thursday. Will do a cold start and warm revs video tomorrow, will be filmed on my iPad but hopefully give you an idea

I thought something was wrong with the car when I hit the limiter, I figured how the hell can my new clutch be slipping

Thanks Paul. Really hope it's sorted. Let me know how Tdr goes, I would be interested in using him

A few have asked what the Hayward and Scott system sounds like so I did a video. I'm no Hollywood editor, particularly on an iPad but you get the idea.

Ground is uneven. The exhaust is on straight lol

That is excellent! I am trying to decide between H and S, the Invidia N1 that Raggy has, or the Tomei ti, which is 10 kg lighter than standard. With a sports cat, the latter is a bit dear. Definitely want that noise.

The H&S system looks and sounds lovely
Look forward to hearing how you get on with your map tweak

Just got back from TDR and it seems the car is all sorted. No faults on the two hour drive home. Limiter has been deleted also.
I was there about 15 minutes. Big thanks to Mark who didn't even charge me. Won't be my last visit to see them.

Now to get polishing for Japfest!

Great day at Japfest today. Car was great on track. Cooked the brakes on the second session but my lines and driving style wasn't the most flowing tbh.
Met some nice people who never knew of a hatchback Spec C let alone a yellow one and took real interest in it.
Can't wait for Oulton Park in a few weeks.

Few pics below kindly taken by a lad I met during the briefing with a 350z.

Went for a spin with a mate last night in his 997 GT3 Clubsport.
He was impressed. Coming out of slower corners he said he was struggling to keep up. Towards the higher rev range he was all over me though. Noticeably quicker. Good fun and half a tank of fuel in an hour lol

Not much of an update, been enjoying the car.
Went to Tunerfest a few weeks ago at Oulton Park. Lots of interest in the car, spent a good few hours chatting. Had one track session and happened to see a video pop up on YouTube from the the car behind. Even more random is that it turns out he lives five miles from me lol. Lots of traffic, I let him past at the end as my brakes were fading badly (uprated discs and pads from Godspeed next on the list). I also had trouble finding the traction control button as I'd never looked before and it was cutting in all the time!! Oh and I missed a gear at 0.43 lol

I am having paint protection film applied next week to the front bumper, front portion of the bonnet and mirrors.

I also got this little sticker today from an older model. Should have come with something similar from factory imo.

I was going to get a sticker too!!
New front top mounts for me next, uprated control arm bushes are great, also got flexy strut bar to go on, and Mishimoto cold air intake for £150. Got the bar from Japan without duty too!!

I'm booked in with Bob Rawle next week for some Racerom, I've asked for:
In gear boost control
Launch Control
Auto blip on downshift

For me it was a tough choice between Pat @ Scoobyclinic or Bob through Chevron as I want ecutek.

An expensive weekend. Car is currently having the paint protection film applied and I've ordered some Godspeed g hook discs, performance friction pads and their RH665 brake fluid.

My Rally Armor mudflaps are being delivered Monday? Also ordered some R205 side badges to replace the chrome ones.

Haha awesome. A local car breakfast club meet this morning that happens every few months at Oswestry Ironworks (well worth a visit on its own.)
All sorts of cars turn up from Mini's to McLaren's.

How did you come across that? You live miles away lol
