Theyre priced between £20-£30 depending on material choice. They come cut and ready to fit and include the top press stud like the oe boot. No need to send them anything, just let them know the model you have

I was secretly hoping to get in to the 10's mate but it wasnt to be, i couldnt get the car cleanly off the line and kept spinning first and second. i managed one decent start and then missed 2 gear changes lol. I managed an 11.4 and then a rear engined mark one golf drag car hit the barrier at the quarter mile mark and shut the track.

My tyres are proper shot, ive just ordered a new set in the new 100 competition compound and will try again soon. I was happy the car survived without any issues and was able to drive home in it

I did see the back end sliding about, as banny above says was dccd locked in or handicap mode (auto)?
I'm guessing it was open and then locked which probably lost you some time with the dccd deciding what to do.

Mine is a non DCCD box so nothing to adjust there. I tried dropping the tyre pressures but made no difference, The start line was permanently damp and slipy with all the guys using the water trap for burnouts and after the jet car went up it was even worse. I might try at santa pod next.

Stunning build!

What boost are you running? I assume you're running straight Vpower?

A little update.

Car is almost ready for TOTOB, a bit of a new look with new wider wheels and sticky tyres have been fitted along with an ABW wide arch kit, should give me that extra traction i need to get her off the line.

New bucket seats are on order and should arrive just in time to get them fitted. Will be having another map done too with more boost and more methanol or race fuel. Lots more i have planned to do but struggling to fit in the time to get in the garage.

I didnt have time to go anywhere nice for pictures as i spent 2 hours applying 3 coats of wheel sealant to try to keep them clean and i had had enough by then so put her back in the garage.

.

Nice, I see you've gone for the rubber strip behind the arches, some don't like them, but I like the idea of them tbh and it gives the seamless look.

Cheers Busta.. The arches would of needed a fair bit of work to get them to fit as flush as i would like them without any trim, The black strip blends in ok as it already has one along the side skirts so it just continues. I need to change the rear trims as theyre wider than the front as i ordered a few samples of different types to try out. I didnt need to leave the car with anybody neither, just sent the arches off for painting after i had trial fixed them to the car.

They wider wheels will help your traction off the line.

Elvington is quite sticky
