I think my current tyres may of gone off slightly with been sat a fair while. I will give the arches more thought over the next couple of months but i am very tempted as i do like the wide aggressive look.

How do impreza's drive with wider tyres say 265's or wider ?? Most other cars ive been in where the trye width had been altered too far from original spec havnt drove too nicely on the road and suffered with tram lining. I want the car to be a little more track capable so will need a bigger footprint with some nice sticky tyres. I will most likely purchase a second set of wheels just for track use.

just a thought;
I run Michelin Cup 2's on my other car; are they available in the sizes you need ?
Better all round than 888's - and actually work in the wet, despite only coming with 5.5mm tread from new !

They need some heat in those to make them work and are bloody treacherous in the wet

My freshly flocked dash arrived today and i had a few hours spare so i set about installing and mounting the Toucan display and the incar tablet setup. Im rather happy with the outcome and it all looks pretty oe. Will get it all installed in the car next week and decide what else to have flocked.

I like where the toucan sits, is it clear at your driving angle? Is it the screen LCD so when off centre goes faded?

Thanks guys.. Busta, the viewing angle should be fine. The way its mounted i can angle it slightly if need be although the main reason for fitting it was so i dont need to look at gauges anyway.

I made a start on swapping the dash out today, it was a bit of a pig of a job due to all the wiring for the tracker and clifford systems not to mention all the wiring ive added since owning it

I managed to get the old dash out and got the new one bolted into place but then ran out of daylight so still need to tidy up all the wiring and then add all the new wiring for the tablet and toucan install.

All looking a lot tidier now, toucan and tablet are installed and new wheel and gaiter added. Im happy with the outcome, i just need a couple of nice bucket seats now to finish it off.

Cheers Busta...

The gaiter surround is only wrapped to see if i like it or not, not sure on it yet ?

Its a custom 2005 onwards wheel but the v8 airbig dosnt fit it so i had to acquire one, i didnt fancy paying £160 for a 2005 sti wheel just for the airbag so i purchased one from a lesser model. Ive ordered a nice new badge for the centre of the wheel

Have you decided what your doing with your motor yet ??

Lol, blue surround not my think, but your choice.
Lol tight git, all money you've spent haha.
Yes I have, just need some spare money to take it forward, why do you have some left over from your build?

I did but gave up with it,as getting the car passed around from one person to the next left a bad taste in my mouth...when it starts feeling like a chore and not a pleasure the whole modifying experience gets frustrating....I have not giving up with it just doing certain mods myself now to get it the way that I want it to be and look,I am 90% of the way their now so not long to go....SJ.
