So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

Although, in either case, I don't really accept a GE result as a mandate for any kind of Brexit or remaining as a GE is not fought on a single issue. Whoever wins, should put any deal/no deal and remain back to the public in a referendum to ensure that the public really accept the deal.

Tactical Vote?
Popped up on my Facebook this morning. A friend posted it, not sure if it is the same thing?

I'd disagree with that, this election will be won or lost over our continued, or not, EU membership, no matter how much the parties try to make it about other issues.I wouldn't like to call it in any direction to be honest, I wasn't expecting to see or here from our MP for another few years, so maybe he'll be roaming the streets again shortly.
This is a GE, not the third EU membership referendum.
This GE will be decided on whether we want another 5 years of Tory incompetence, economic mismanagement, c@ck ups and austerity, or not.
Boris is trying to hide behind the Brexit fig leaf but in the end, in a 6 week campaign, the state of the country is what will come to the fore.
This is why this is Boris's biggest gamble. He needs this election to be about Brexit.
He knows if the country examines the Tories on their record then the country will do what we've always done at times like this: vote to kick out the current government.

She was on QT saying she only campaigned against what she saw was illegal
Does she have a site for tactical voting for Brexit?

I'll be using this GE as a proxy vote on Brexit and so will a lot of others I know of, like it or loath it, that's the way it is. Governments come and go but EU membership status is permanent. No point in voting Labour as they don't have a stance on Brexit. What sort of a deal could they get when there is a possibility that they will end up campaign against their own "negotiated" deal? Most likely we'll end up with another hung parliament and the GE will have done nothing but add more uncertainty and division leaving the country in limbo yet again.....

We will see before too long. I should imagine there will be a bit of interesting tattoo flash for the election results. Friday 13th is a lucky day for tattooists and they normally celebrate by creating classic/topical designs for one day only. Leftfield I guess

And who do you suggest as an alternative?
Labour - One minute they are recruiting 10,000 police (costing £300,000) then suddenly its 25,000 costing £80m. They will also negotiate a brexit deal and vote against their own deal in the commons.
Lib Dem - Tuition fess, Chuka Umunna who changes his mind daily
