Trump and Hilary are about the same age, but going by their behaviours, Trump is like a dysfunctional child. Hilary is like a manipulative, sneaky and narcissistic mother, who tells her child to tell the caller on phone that the dad is out at work, while the dad is actually vegetating at home, drinking beer and watching Top Gear.

Let's see who America chooses between the two.

I suppose America can put up with a narcissistic mother, at least for a term. Putting up with a dysfunctional child for that long may be a bit too much, to be real.

To be honest I'd love to see Trump win, simply to see how true to his word he is. Especially after the article i read the other day in the IET magazine which looked into the cost and logistics of building the Trump wall.

A truly scary and virtually impenetrable barrier would simply need to copy the 'no escape' fences that existed between East and West Germany. On the border was a high fence, then a km wide exclusion zone back into East Germany that was totally barren, and high observation/machinegun posts every 500 metres or so along the inner fence.
Driving into East Germany (you couldn't fly) was quite simple with the right paper work, getting out was another story. Intensive car searches, mirrors under coaches to check for stowaways, large suitcases checked for babies: it was a long process. Trump could learn a thing or two from them and save a few bob!

Man! She's ahead of him only by 0.2%! Anything can happen.

I think she'll win by a very small margin.

Maybe ive got it wrong but after the first investigation there was a cloud left over her with ideas of a cover up . Now with it being re-opened and her again being cleared ,is that not a good thing ?and will help her gain more votes than if it hadn't been re-opened?

Hodgy i think you posted something about the re-investigation being based on bull**** . Is that right ?

My conspiracy head tells me he will win . But it could also just be like the scottish independance as in ,i was maybe going to wake up the next day to (what felt like would be)a huge change in . But in fact things just carried on as before .

The conspiracy nut in me tells me that trump will win and that it is part of some conspiracy along with brexit .

Oh and i think we are on the brink of ww3

But my main concern above all that is will i get my car on the road by summer 2017

Yes the polls tightened (in Trumps favour) after the FBI announced the re-investigation

No one seriously disputes this

And crucially Before the result were known - and in reality it was a case off "nothing to see here"

But the damage was done, there was not enough time for much of a recovery

Mud sticks if you throw enough of it, even if nothing ever comes of it

But it has meant it will go to the wire

Had to google it

Presidential Directives, better known as Presidential Decision Directives (or PDDs), are a form of an executive order issued by the President of the United States with the advice and analysis of the National Security Council.

I would hope that the national security council wwould be sane people with my best interests at heart . And i also believe that he will be killed before he did anything out of control

One last theory / thought in my slightly unhinged mind is that trumps son will be the first trump president and this whole thing is just a huge publicity stunt to get his family name out there in politics . His son will come along with a much more sane personality in the future.

And hilary will win this time and nothing will change life will carry on like none of this happened except people will remember trump was almost president but he was just a bit to crazy.

Yeah, they have a fence it is not a secret

Presumably it had to be subject of some sort of vote

I would imagine 100's of republicans and democrats voted for it

I didnt mean to imply it was a secret . Just her hypocracy . I saw her talk about the importance of that barrier then and now talking about breaking barriers

Reminds me of trump. I think if you read that and i asked who said it you might even guess trump

politicians are hypocrites - wow who knew!!!!

Upthread in a gish gallop list Hilary was "accused" of shimming up to Wall Street

Meanwhile in other news George Osborne comes back from a speaking tour to US bankers - earning a nice 100k

Now I think Osborne is a snivelling **** but would not put him in the same league as Trump

Independent analysis have looked at trump speeches

75% of what he says is simple lies, compared to 26 odd for Clinton / Saunders

You like people lying big to you Gary - fair play you are a CT'r after all so in a sense "good for business"

By tomorrow morning, if Trump learns that he has lost the race, what can he do, as he won't accept the election result, then? Ask for re-election (which won't happen) by calling this one rigged, or can he rattle some cages in any other way? Mind boggles, innit? What can he do, apart from throwing his toys out of his pram?

so its not worth mentioning in your opinion , fair enough .

Meanwhile in other news George Osborne comes back from a speaking tour to US bankers - earning a nice 100k

Now I think Osborne is a snivelling **** but would not put him in the same league as Trump

none of that seems relevant to me so no comment

trump is crazy with all manner of flaws.i didnt post an example of HC hypocracy with any intention of it reflecting on trumps personality so not really relevant to my post either

My theory is he will fade into the background but his son will come more to the front over the years and with a more sane personality but still with the same *government is corrupt* stand point.

I expect to see his son being interviewed and talking about his dads mad cap way , all said in a serious but joking light hearted way and with an aire of superiority that his dad was right about this that and the other but he will say it in a much more pc way.

His dad has done a good job of paving the way for his son . In my conspiracy theorist mind anyway

Sky predictor is now saying that Clinton has 79% chance of winning. That's much bigger chance than I thought TBH. Some other arm chairer has just said that the Americans will ALWAYS choose the corrupt over the crazy. In that case, congrats to Clinton (and her supporters) in advance. Well done.
