I hear that Trump is well behind Clinton, now.

Wait for the post election time when the loser will either disappear off the radar for a bit, or fire blank at random at everyone who p7ssed him off during his campaign. Cheap quality entertainment on the tap may never seize from him. Clown of the century. Gives our Boris a run for his money.

Trump makes Boris look refined and introverted.

Definitely.

Boris has gone more introverted than ever. The change since he had to withdraw his candidacy for the PM post is so visible. Remember when he was nodding his serious head like a little obedient boy to what his American equivalent was saying on Russia-Syria? He looked like a right muppet. He needs to keep something of himself in him. That spark's gone out in him since the referendum. Referendum turned out to be an Endum for his jolly self. Then again, it's just not possible to keep forever (or constantly) what you 'have', if you're a politician.

I must say, I can be very out of the loop with what's going on in the UK, sometimes, that's for sure. I can see how you get some American's who have no idea about the world! So thank you for the insights

Boris's CV reminds me of what Mrs. Obama said re. Trump that presidency doesn't change you, it reveals you. In the same context, if you look at the 'power' ; may it be the presidencial power or other power, the progression in Boris is quite watchable. As a powerful mayor, he revealed himself and got liked. That role can handle and sometimes demands revelation. Apparently the new London mayor is quite an interesting fella, too. Anyway, back to Boris, as a power hungry PM seat chaser, he revealed himself throughout even more. That shameless revelation cost him his seat for PM. Now as a motorised puppet pawn to TM, he hides himself as a tight-lipped man of composure, because he wants to remain with power; may it be the graced one. I suppose that's all he can do; for now. Perhaps he will rise again, and then slowly reveal his flippant self again.

Leadership has a lot to answer as well, I believe. I don't think any of the Tories took Cameron very seriously, whereas they seem to be sh7t scared of Theresa May. She does look like a very strict high school head mistress. Her voice and facial expressions, when she's arguing with the opposition, is so harsh that you really wouldn't want to cross her that time. You definitely need some thick-skinned ear basher to argue with her; someone like Cameron. Jeremy Corbyn can't even whistle to let his cat in, in compare.

Just heard the announcement that that FBI are reopening the Clinton email investigation, doubt it will have much affect on her campaign.

I think the issue will be with the voters who have not voted before

They are sort of off the radar - so really difficult to determine

It was these non voting voters that seemed to make a difference in the Brexit vote

But, yeah would not surprise me

Not fun if you live near a Golf course in Scotland

They recently interviewed some American voters re a Trump Presidency. One said he would be scared to go to sleep in case Trump let off an atom bomb while he was in bed. Another opined that America would be a smoking ruin within a year. And we're worried about Brexit and the probably fallout!

Isn't it amazing how gullible and naive many people are... allowing themselves to be manipulated and lapping up all the propaganda spouted via the main stream media by the political establishment and their banker/corporate masters.

You're probably right but it's not all doom and gloom: the sale of nuclear shelters worldwide should go right up!

Clinton, Live in Cleveland, seems to have pinched Trump's spontaneity and voice pitch variation. I'm sure that should help her.

Clinton needed the re-investigation . At this point its all about getting votes from the undecided and this removes a cloud over her head . Should see her gain more votes this way

Yes, that's more than obvious without saying. Trump has pulled out his 'rigged' card again.

the issue is not whether Clinton needed a re-investigation

the issue is whether the FBI should have made it public at a crucial time in the election - releasing information that they must have known would be a game changer - when they had no idea how relevant the emails where

and we know learn they where duplicates and no further investigation is required

but nothing surprises about the right wing attack machine in the US

Remember John Kerry's (the current Secretary of state) attempts to run for president - John Kerry was a decorated war hero who was wounded fighting in Vietnam (he received several purple hearts and military citations)

yet they still managed to smear him as a liar and a coward - what chance has anyone got in US politics

"During John Kerry's candidacy in the 2004 U.S. presidential campaign, a political issue that gained widespread public attention was Kerry's Vietnam War record. In television advertisements and a book called Unfit for Command, co-authored by John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (SBVT), a 527 group later known as the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth, questioned details of his military service record and circumstances relating to the award of his combat medals. Their campaign against Kerry's presidential bid received widespread publicity,[1] but was later discredited and gave rise to the neologism "swiftboating", to describe an unfair or untrue political attack.[2][3] Defenders of John Kerry's service record, including nearly all of his former crewmates, have stated that SBVT's allegations are false"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_K...ce_controversy

who was he fighting for the presidency, one George Bush - did he fight in Vietnam or get anywhere close let alone wounded in action

NO off course he didn't

really, Trump looked dead in the water - just looks at the polling over the last 2 / 3 weeks

he was not even bothering to actively campaign in some states

now it is neck and neck - with undoubtedly hyped media reports that Clinton voters who had cast the vote early wanted to recall their vote

Some of the stuff i read suggested that there is a more prevalent thinking that while polls show neck and neck trumps now ahead.

Bit like brexit pools showed one thing but result was something else because alot of folks won't admit what they really think except when they place an X
