I think you've answered your own question, mate. There are plenty of Imprezas for sale. Personally, I would steer well clear of this one. Why take the risk? Buy one that comes with plenty of provenance, preferably from an enthusiast who can answer all your questions honestly. Even if it takes months, it's worth waiting for the right one.

 

I'm sure you're right. Will keep looking. I hear JDM is the way to go but I've never owned one and recall the days that they were harder to insure and parts harder to come by so I'm a little put off them, though I'm sure times have changed
