Half of them are probably nicked.
Someone I know sent his off to be chipped by some dodgey company, supposed to only take 3 days. Six weeks later hes still not got it back. But what can you do, tell the police? trickey one.

 

you can report it to the police as it is not illegal to chip your machine as this has to be done to play imported games (as i am sure this is the reason he done it) failing that stick a couple of bricks throo the theiving gets windows twice a week for a year or so
