I'm not prepared to spend £400 to upgrade from my 6+ right now, it's still too good... saying that I wanted more from the camera yesterday - see below. iOS 10 has freshened up the experience as well, lots of things are better/new. Plus I need a certain case for my car/bike/paragliding and they're pre order, I had to keep my 5s for 3 months waiting for the 6 case so I'm not doing that again.
Things I'd really like, 3d touch, force touch whatever it's called, the Taptic engine, better water resistance and who wouldn't like a better camera. And all the other stuff that only works on the 6s and 7
Looks like Apple went for the old under promise over deliver on the display too.
"The Absolute Color Accuracy of the iPhone 7 is Truly Impressive as shown in these Figures. It is the most color accurate display that we have ever measured. It is Visually Indistinguishable from Perfect, and is very likely considerably better than on any mobile display, monitor, TV or UHD TV that you have. So photos, videos, and online content and merchandise will appear correct and beautiful."

It's cropped but that wheel
Seriously, I can see it's a very old car, but is that front wheel supposed to be elliptical?

I did kind of just guess where the car was whilst holding the phone over my head and probably moved, but yeah not great, usually only gets bendy with big buildings.
Why can't you accept that the iPhone 7 has stereo speakers, are you trying to avert our attention from your last gaff? You know 3 days usage on a single charge.
Although the intro was amusing I'll be taking anything Ali G says with a pinch of salt, know what I mean star.
you get more usage on a new Galaxy than any new iPhone, thats all that matters.
I take back what I said about the speaker, but in any event what with all the trouble with iOS10 updates and maybe that A10 CPU is too fast for its own good.
I recenly picked up a S7 Edge its a damn sight more interesting than the iPhone 7, better screen, fast and wireless charging, SD card slot and not hooked into the Apple eco system.
And guess what Jack? After setting up my google account it asked did I want to install the latest firmware updates? I said why not, a few minutes later I had the most up to date device with all my apps restored as well as selecting any call logs and sms messages i wanted going back years.
no bricking device or losing data involved.

Good man, admitting your mistakes is the first step towards quitting custard pies.
Enjoy your device, even if you're fooling yourself again with the usage data. Super happy you got an update, not sure that's Nougat though. Shame you have such a small amount of internal storage, that'll bite you later.

why would i not post links, you are washed out on Apple.
on about how great the iOS is, only for many many bugs to prop up on pretty much any google search, including the recent updates.
Then the latest iPhone 7 has some interesting rumous of weird noises coming from it and/or some over heating issues.
I can also bring up the raw support on cameras, my old Note 5 had that.
How is that even possible Jack. No one trumps Apple.
So what if your Note 5 had RAW, if you think there's not a long list of things the iPhone had that your device now has I suggest you look up the 2007 iPhone launch video.
Im all for Apple being trumped! go back just a few weeks to the time I admired the Galaxy screens, and they are still great, undeniably better than my iPhone 6. The 7 has trumped it though and you'll need to get used to that, be like me, admire it, it'll help you towards the next step.

I have not bought the Note 7 as I dont think it was worth the money since its pretty on par with performance with the S7 edge anyway.
Anyway, the display on the S7 Edge is indeed amazing so i wont get tired of this in a rush. Camera takes top quality photos too.
My Note5 had 64GB and i never even reached its max so i dont think the memory is too much of a problem. Using cloud sharing added with sd cards will be more than enough.
Banned list? Lots of Macs have SD slots, very handy on rare occasions, but not the best place to run software from.
iPhones never had them, probably due to the low cost and ease of increasing memory over simply stocking larger more expensive devices in the first place.
Samsung's latest SD cards are not to be sniffed at anyway
The company’s latest memory offering is a UFS 2.0 1.0 storage solution that will work with any device that has microSDXC support future devices that can support expandable storage, but it offers the same lightning-fast storage experience as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7. In fact, these new cards are just as fast as SSD drives.
iPhones never had them because internal storage is better, who wants to carry around multiple cards? If you're not swapping cards you're much better off buying a phone with a good amount of storage built in.

not quite, its only in recent times has NAND memory got so low cost and allowed manufacturers to have masses of memory as standard, the iPhone 6 had a 16GB option, with no sd card at all and this was only a few years back.
what was that about, historically iPhones were sold with very small amount of memory, relative to other manufactuers. In fact I would go as far as to say its only with the iphone 7 have they really opened the game up with devices having proper decent storage, even if it does cost an arm and a leg for the high end model, £1k for a iPhone 7 plus with 256GB or memory.
SD Card performance is increasing all the time, see Samsungs new line of cards, offering SSD hard disk performance.
I've had my iPhone for 2 years and it has 128GB, so did the one before it, before that 64. So not exactly only just. Apple still sold the 16GB this year! Seems crazy to me, but must work for others.
