All the best with the decision to sell and onwards and upwards with the forester. I'll just pretend I didn't see that red pile of scrap at the bottom of your post lol

at least they realised the error and dropped the mazda 3 clone and went back to saloons.

Completely agree. I had a member on here who offered me a laughable, borderline offensive amount for my low mileage, standard, mint (and it really was mint) hawk STi because he apparantly "knew the market" and that UK hawk STi's are only going to drop in price

2 weeks later I sold it for almost what I advertised it for. Far too many 'Know-it-all' folk on here. Bit of a shame as there are some seriously knowledgable people on here who have helped me out on numerous occasions!

Don't you dare sell your Impreza!!!! At least my Forester goes fast. Tell your wife it's appreciating in value now it's sitting in the garage not being loved!

Indeed. That's how I see it. I'm enjoying modifying the Forester and enjoying driving it more every day. That's what it's all about!

Very nice 68 you've got there. Looks lovely. In the last 10 years I've always owned a beetle, most have been projects with some runners. 71, 74, 66 and now my 63. Was looking at a lovely 58 too but for the time being I'm happy to tinker with the 63. Have all sorts ready to go on it when I get a chance. Great cars when they're working! :-)

Well it seems a trader was trying to make a very large mark up on my efforts.

Sold my 56 plate WRX for £4k and just found out it was advertised last year for £9k. hahaha WOW.

Talking of brake stops. Does anyone know where I can pick one up from for a 2008 hatch ?. Been looking around but can't find one yet.

Not as many people make them for the hatch from whet I've found having a look for you on the web. Few LHD but not many RHD. Possibly look at Rallitek site and ask about RHD brake stoppers for 2008+ cars. Good luck!

Yeh I know! Tell me about it! Even though I sunk a LOT of cash into that car I still thought £4k was sensible.

Originally got mine from Co-ordsport / Part Box back in '14, but they don't seem to list it anymore.

Cusco Brake Cylinder stopper 692561A (Also fits the Exiga)

Maybe they can get you one.
