Agree with you stilover. Ford's have always had a p@@s poor interior and that goes for the new rs aswell. Doesn't look aggressive up for me, it's pretty much an st looking car with a slightly bigger front bumper and spoiler. Really doesn't do it for me but I like the awd aspect of it though

Probably a couple of thousand with the parts we have but we didn't tune a stock car so not sure what a standard one makes with just a map or just a map and exhaust etc.

That makes the Type r a pretty damned good value car for modding

Made 397 on the rollers today after the induction kit was fitted, map hasn't been tweaked though. We have also added an oil cooler kit and new radiator both from forge, they wouldn't necessarily be needed but obviously we have a development car so we will look at everything.

We made around 390 after a sports cat back scorpion system, forge intercooler and forge silicone boost pipes. Then it showed 397 after the induction kit was fitted. We didn't map it standard so couldn't say what it would make with just a standard map.

I love the civics, always had a place in my heart since I owned the 03 version for 3 trouble free years

M2 is an investment car it'll go up in price rather than down, I've been in talks with BMW over the last few weeks and dealers are only allowed to sell 2 think BMW are trying to make it like the 1M

As opposed to m4 where I can get 18k off list..... Weird

id rather have a new Sti over a bmw if I had £30,000 to spend because I think that bmw's have no value for money whatsoever...but then again I couldn't afford a car like that anyway

I was discussing cars as an investment opportunity with my FIL

and I suggested the BMW Z8

I had no idea of the prices - but was pretty shocked when I checked them

not sure what they were new though

We looked at the new civic, but for us front wheel drive was a no go,
The RS is awesome, really happy with it, just looking at mapping options, but waiting on Syvecs to finalize there plug n play kit

From what i read there is no indication when it switches off the Rear Drive Unit (RDU) from overheating.

The rear suspension setup surprised me too

Lol, I see the no hopers are out in force again

There's been a few things that people have said to me over the years and at the time I thought they were being not very nice, still not sure that said words were uttered in my best interest, but it's funny how such utterances make you think and then result in a change for the better, one such utterance was "If you're not happy with your pay and conditions, seek alternative employment" I have since taken that theme through my life and used it to my advantage many many times, so I say to you haters, if you're not happy with your life situation do something about it.

Don't b1tch at people on the internet that you're jealous of and try and bring them down because that attitude will permeate throughout your own existence, a process that is obviously well under way, the words bitter and twisted spring to mind.

Seven deadly sins and all that.

I personally love the type r and aim to have one in the future. Im a big fan of the type r brand and loved both my ep3s just a shame i got 3 kids and can only fit 2 in a type r. I liked the focus rs mk2 but i live on a main road and there must be 4 or 5 of them in my area and all driven by chavs that hammer the life out of them.

For anyone interested, I ran a 13.1 second 1/4 mile at york raceway a couple of weeks back, totally standard RS.
Not sure what the standard CTR runs ?
