i see ****e from the eu every day at work (pan european company)
just last thursday i was forced by head office to buy a bearing for a customer from our spanish company at a cost of £18.42
i could of bought if from ina germany the manufactor for £11.28 where the fvck does that make any sense,
when i asked why such a difference i was told because of the currency it was bought in, you couldn't make up the lengths companies will go to to line other peoples pockets,
regina is another example i can buy their products in the uk from regina uk far cheeper than from italy (where they make it) the problems arrise when italy takes the whole of august off

Garage is now saying we are heading for a small recession
(that was happening anyway!!!)
So plenty of family time for some
Listen where is warren, I feel NSR needs his sage council to calm the fears of " project fear" the wasn't true, btw, that's why we have had so much reassurance from Gove et al
Perhaps a communal land of hope and glory

Were you a Remain campaigner? Are you sore about the referendum result? Check out these 10 top self-comforting strategies.
1.) Call every white person who voted Leave a "racist", ignoring the fact that Europeans are also white. Make sure you ignore and marginalise ethnic minority leave voters.
2.) Claim that the (huge) turnout wasn't high enough. 72%? It should have been at least 75%! 80%? It should have been 85%! Make sure to keep moving the goalposts.
3.) Make a stupid e-petition demanding another referendum, just like the socialists did when Labour lost last year. We need to keep having referendums until we get the "right" result.
4.) Get over-excited about the economy, even if the impact has been pretty boring and mundane. Pretend that your 2:2 in English Literature makes you an expert on currency markets.
5.) Attack the very idea of Democracy, because it's only a good thing when it goes the way you want it to. Working class voters don't know what's good for them, but middle class liberals definitely do.
6.) Share memes bashing Brexit, ignoring the unwelcome and uncomfortable realisation that you are in the minority of public opinion.
7.) Boldly claim that Scotland will leave the UK, forgetting that A) they can't afford to B) the EU can't afford to take them C) 1.6m remain votes don't cancel out 2m NO votes.
8.) Make fun of Boris Johnson while sweating slightly and really hoping he doesn't become Prime Minister.
9.) Learn absolutely nothing from the campaign, blaming the result on everyone but yourself. Scaremongering and bullying are clearly the best tactics to use, there's no way they could possibly backfire.
10.) Curl up in a ball and cry yourself to sleep while listening to "Ode to Joy".

I was wondering how long the pig **** thickorati would take to publish a gish gallop list of crap
To be fair Hodgy, I think (as you said early on), whatever people think about the vote, it's time for everyone to try and roll their sleeves up and move on/make the best of it. I am finding it quite depressing that the media seem determined to continue to make everything look as bleak as possible, while at the same time, there's no leadership of any description from the PM or anyone in the Leave camp - at a time when we need stability. And just for good measure, the Labour party seems determined to ensure complete self destruction, when some kind of opposition is desperately needed to keep the government on its toes

Agreed
Does anyone know who's kidnapped the Chancellor? I think why might need to pay the ransom, as we're going to need him back to start sorting things out!

Oh the poor poor people of Glasto, my heart bleeds. No. This is getting silly now.
In 1997 I was young, 18 and vehemently against Labour ever getting into government...what happened? For 13 years of my life I've been ruled by a government I did not vote for and did not want.
This is how our voting system works. And always has done.
Do not call another referendum
Do not carry on sulking
Campaign to change our voting system. We may have a general election soon and with both leading parties falling to pieces....This is the only time in modern history where the opportunity presents for voting a proper reform and totally change our government whilst the mainstream parties are at their weakest. This is not the time for a argument over who won and lost.
Slight crux is the Torys have to call for election. We need to petition and campaign so that they do so as early as possible....and we could do with some new political parties...sounded like a impossible thing last month. I reckon its possible now though

Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks.
Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools.
And their grandchildren are once more slaves.

Very amusing, and how would you know what I have or have not read?
If you don't understand what Lawrence is saying, and it's very simple and pertinent to the current situation, then there's little point attempting to explain it to you.
our forefathers fought for freedom
we almost gave it away
and our kids would of been slaves to the EU
thats 2 things ive got rightpredicting leaving
and some d h lawerence
not so dense after all
heres my next predictions. in 2 years time my shopping will be no more expencive
general election by october, but if they call one to quick it will ba a libdem/conservative coalition
So now we know the real reason why we haven't invoked Article 50. The Brexit campaign weren't expecting to win and have no post Brexit plan!! You can't make it up! Cameron played a very clever card in resigning. In doing so removed the responsibility from himself to Boris to invoke Article 50. Now it will be he who will be under pressure from the EU as they demand the Article 50 invocation. It will be he who will have to face up to the EU community and they will be hard on him as they will undoubtedly make an example of the UK to prevent other EU members from calling a referendum. With no plan Boris is now in a bit of a pickle.
