I'm only guessing that in the euphoria instilled by the west ( arab spring) and the consequent mayhem and destruction wrought they see the west as half the problem for bombing their homeland

do you not think that the ultimate motivation is the innate human desire to better oneself

I am not condoning violence or intimidation and anyone caught should be dealt with harshly and deported etc

but surely if the motivation was simply to be a cvnt they could do that at home

the situation is untenable and there are no easy answers - apart from the obvious one of making their home situation less of a utter disaster that they want to live in a sh1thole in Calais

The rules are simple,you go to the next nearest country of safety.But lets for a moment take this out of the equation.you don't win the hearts and minds of people by going into their local towns,harassing,robbing,raping,storming the ports of Calais.By doing this,they are actually destroying what they are trying to achieve.Just as the woman in the video said,we had sympathy when they first came and wanted to help them.But the more we gave the more they wanted,it wasn't enough.So then they start to harass people,robbing and beating.Now they have turned people against them.I got nothing against immigration,I have my own place in Prague my gf is Czech,but even the Czech people don't want them,Because they see what they are doing.was a big demonstration in Prague the weekend.

yes, and I would not disagree with much of that

although it will always be a vocal minority that as ever spoil it for the many - that has always been a frustration for me

because the "many" in my view - just want to get on and make a better life for themselves

And I agree with you totally,but people don't always see it like this,and people don't want it in their own back yard,if you start to become threatening to their way of life,its territorial.And the people who are trying to escape war and poverty need to understand,its the Government who decides what country to go to war with.Those great men in sharp suits you see on the tv make the decision.But don't come to the normal people with a hammer,come to them with love,because that's how you win a brother.

Yea i do believe what my own eyes see Martin i passed through Calais every week .And they are even causing some problems in prague and people don't want them,Guys in my Job who are not doing the continental anymore,because they are sick of the hundreds who surrounded their vehicles with weapons wanting to climb onboard.
Anyhow i'm done with this,I said what needed..Time will tell Martin this play out..
