Proper dash cams are not cheap, must be the fashion lately that's encouraged prices.

Sj4000 by sjcam (£60 with host of accessories including wifi and waterproof case) go pro killer.
I'd want to use my cam for trackdays etc and suction window mounts are not allowed so needs fixing somewhere properly. really it's down to usage of what you want, but there's so many out there now
