Thanks for that...yes they did send me a fair wear guide, the car itself is very tidy and looked after there are just a few things I might have to get done, slightly kurbed alloy wheel and a 6 inch scratch on one of the rear inside door trims.
Is it a case of if they don't notice anything and take it away then I'm in the clear or can they come back to me at a later date if they notice anything?
Ours is also with ALD automotive

On the Merc's once you signed the return sheet that was it, anything afterwards that turned up or missed you could not be charged for.

A mate of mine just returned a Golf R, had a scuffed diamond cut alloy, & it was bad, got £80.00 for that, you can't get them sorted under £100.00 & 2 swage line dinks on the same panel, £50.00, if it was on 2 different panels there was no charge, its a bit of a mine field, but they usually in my opinion, don't take the ****.

Nice one, thanks for that...hopefully I will get someone a bit decent, if they do notice anything I might try a cheeky cash bribe

When mine goes back I might try getting the missus to deal with it in a low cut top, so he gets a flash of her vest.

What do you think of this deal for the BMW 335d X-Drive?

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/c...uto/70264.html

Very tempted, I am.

£2.5k upfront payment though, shame it's not a 1+23 or that would be my next car.

You still got the VXR? Got mine until October and would consider buying it off the leasing company for the right price absolutely love driving it still!

Yes still got mine, I had it over 3 years so got another 18months to go, I dont think i will buy it as I could do with a bigger car, but id be interested to see how much Vauxhall would offer it, as Ive seen a few with under 10k miles going for £11-12k.

Ive just ticked over to 5,700miles now, Ive enjoyed the car since ive had it, but ive noticed the Vauxhall squeaks and rattles now the cars over a year old, one of the biggest pains are the squeaky brakes, they sound like a bloody bus slowing down!!!

The only issue i've had is the tyre pressure monitor which constantly showed my tyres low for about 3 months but each time you turned the ignition on it was a different tyre it was reporting it on. I didn't do anything about it due to pure laziness and since the weather has warmed up it's gone back to working fine

I've got a Pathfinder as my main car so interested in keeping mine as my runabout/toy for the right price as i've seen the same as you with them going 11-12k from a main dealership. Depends how realistic the finance company are though come October. I'm just under 10k miles on mine so will be running up excess mileage between now and when it goes back so won't use it as much as i'd like to from now on.

There will be some deals soon for 10k miles, I'll post them up on here when I see them as I get them sent by Central car leasing to my e-mail, They sent one the otherday for the new Golf GTi and it worked out £131 a month but limited availability and now the deal has gone!!!
