I think Polar M600 has better heart rate sensors And connections to Bluetooth sensors on bikes, which this Apple watch Mark 2 doesn't appear to do
It's got android operating system as well

If your'e dead serious about monitoring during endurance exercise I'd buy a separate monitor, if you're a casual like me I'd wait for OS3.

Not really, they sold about 230 million iPhones in 2015, about 7 million watches, so not even the iSheep are taking to it. The fact it is so expensive is why the actual monetary figure is that high. Pretty poor performance really. But, not anyone else is doing that great on them either, which is the whole point of the thread.

They should have an iJack product named after him
I have a Citizen watch myself, as accurate as a Rolex and will outlive me and all them useless Apple watches that will be in WEEE bins in a few years time.

In fact anyone who knows anything about timepieces would avoid an Apple watch in the first place.
iSheep watches are just to go along with all the other over priced products fanboys will snap up.

You are allowed more than one watch, two wrists after all.
It's a shame you're such a hater, the Apple Watch is a great device, you'll just have to make do with second best, like your watch, not quite a Rolex.

A citizen watch will long outlast junk from Apple, I don't need to recharge this every night and I won't be sending it to a recycling plant in a few years.

Ruomour has it that the iPhone 8 will have OLED with a glass body (strikingly similar to a S7 edge in fact), they could call this the iJack8 in dedication to our resident sheep here.
Fanboys, welcome to the 21st century.

I just don't think wearable tech is there yet, I know people with smart watches, I have one myself (a present I might add!), and everyone is of the same opinion, they just aren't worth the money. Mine is just used as a watch pretty much, the novelty wears off (no pun intended). It's good because it always has the right time, but that's about it.

Is it an Apple Watch? They're really useful, even tells me when to breathe. Paying for things is my #1 feature, its crazy how long I can go with just my watch as a payment method, wallet is long gone and cards aren't with me all the time.
Seriously though, how can you say Apple haven't sold a load of Watches is beyond me. They've sold a ginormous amount in Watch terms. Ginormous!
You'll need to define 'better' for me too. Lots of smartphones are better at running Android than an iPhone but than doesn't make them a better smartphone. Unless you're specific it's far too subjective.

Q2 2016, Apple shipped 40.4M iPhones and 1.6M Smartwatches over the same period (a 55% decline over the same period in 2015)
If anything it says the demand for them is fading away, you could say that just 4% of people who buy iPhones buy Apple watches, clearly apple would like this to be near 100%.
I see no point in them myself, my watch being a fantastic Citizen that needs no battery and no maintenance tells me the time accurate to the nearest atomic clock signal it receives.
My phone has S Health that provides more than enough information as to my well being, down to and including caffeine intake, it doesnt tell me when to breathe but that maybe a unique feature for Iphone users.

I keep thinking I'll get a Garmin for my bike, then I remember that I tracked 100k on my old iPhone and I'm not doing that every day so it's just not worth it.
S Health is all well and good Custard Pie but it can't match having something attached. Let's say I fall off my bike again, not only can I tell what time I fell but also I can stop Strava and call for recovery, if I've done a good job there's a button that calls the emergency services for me and tells them where I am, if I did a proper job then my medical info is right there on screen. All this while recording my heart rate and using that data to saves lives. Imagine what it can do when you don't fall off.

As well as S Health, which itself is as comprehensive a health monitoring app as anyone could need, the Samsung also has emergency mode, you could probably tell ok google to call an ambulance as well but I have not tried this.

I see your mistake, it's an easy one to make, when you press the emergency button it calls your mate who may or may not be in, mine calls the emergency services, 999 in this country but works around the world. You might see this on Nexus devices in the future but I doubt Samsung could pull off such a collaboration. Trust issues I would think.
The battery on my year old Apple Watch is great, it's at 60% right now and I tracked an hour of exercise earlier. I charge it every night just like my phone, but can drag it out for two if needed. It actually better than when I bought it, only Apple do that.

The battery @ 200mAh is the smallest on a smart watch, only Apple do that.

While we're talking similar, how come google didn't copy Samsung?

That looks awful, like two old operating systems on one phone. Google have the right idea, make it more like Apple. When are you getting the latest version, it's been out for months. Side note, more people are using iOS 10 than iOS 9, that's after a couple of weeks.
