So can you prove you didn't damage the phone??
As all were going on is ur word saying the phone arrived damaged, there is no evidence oops
If you wish to accuse my 65 years old mother of damaging the phone so that it was unusable after she received the phone as a gift to be used, well I think that proves more what a moron you are rather than anything about the damage.

But also, just to squash your hypothesis a little more, Fud admitted yes that is how the phone was, no objection to the damage, it was how it was sent.

You can faceplant yourself now fella with a big 'oops' You most definitely are are not bright enough for this conversation, at all, so don't try to be.

Oh and spelling is one thing, but using text speak in a paragraph is a disgrace to the English language.

All this thread is doing is attracting the usual trolls.
It's in paypals hands now by the sounds of it , time to close the thread.
If you struggle to get a phone let me know a week on Wednesday when I'm back in the UK....I get offered loads but not sure on what they are worth most of the time.
I got offered the waterproof Sony one the other day , new £100 (£400+ on eBay)
Like I say...if it's no rush , drop me a pm and I will ask around when I get back and sober up

Thanks mate.

Yes, the trolls are the trolls, its expected with the usuals, but as long as the facts are referred to , it does nothing than to support the case and make themselves look daft, so it does make me smile.

Yes its in PAyPals hands, but was hoping the seller would of done the right thing by now, approved the refund and sorted out the postage. Thread is open just to make a final update so other buyers are aware of what happened and how it was resolved.

If we didn't have threads like this, how many cars would of been bought of Cheshire Performance!

Thats really kind of you mate, cheers for that, have a good hols!.

Again where is the evidence that the phone ended up in your mothers hands that's just your word!! Why you getting mad calling me a moron, maybe I'm on the correct lines as they say truth hurts??

If I'm a moron then you must be a Wasteman buying your mom a used phone!

I might not be bright enough for your big words, not all of us on here ate a dictionary but my point gets across as it needs to.

Going back to your post saying I use text speach, and that it's a disgrace to the English language blah blah blah

I can use what ever text I like atleast I have a working phone to text on, then your quick to cry troll and I hope there is plenty of mistakes in there for you to sit and rectify in your boring life

Now that's it from the Moron to the Wasteman...

For someone who can't even spell principle you've got no room to be pulling up others on their literacy.

Its not as waterproof as they say, as I found out in Turkey a few weeks ago although it worked well for at least 4 photos before the screen went dead!

Just last week I purchased a baby monitor from eBay. Once it arrived there was an issue with the charging port.
I sent the monitor back and the seller sent me out another along with a refund for my postage of the faulty monitor.

I bought an item but it wasn't as described, not my fault but the seller's. Why would I have to cover the costs for his mistake ??

Thanks Matty, my point well summarised.

Paypal has now issued a refund with original postal charges included, however as expected i am still out of pocket to return the phone to Fud because of his mistake.

Maybe he will do the decent thing and send accross the money and ill update the thread to say that he has.

Just send it via 2nd class post. It'll cost you no more than £3
I know you shouldn't have to cover it but it'll put an end to an ugly situation

Yeah would of be fine to do that, but unfortunately due to the way he has behaved regarding this, i couldn't trust him to say he had recieved it back to PayPal, so it went back Special Delivery.
