Thanks for the compliment mateThe work that engine tuner done for me was spot on,but previous things done by other so called specialist had to be put right by Scooby Clinic who have been taking care of my car since i got it back and just to add doing a superb job,I wouldn't use another Subaru Specialist now,and I have to drive a good few miles to get up there from Surrey.SJ.

Well back again today with another small mod that I can take off my listI wanted to freshen up my rear lights at the back as the orange bulbs look a bit dated now so i installed some silver tech rear bulbs....

Before...

During...

After...

I think it looks welland brightens up the look of the rear lights a tad.SJ.

I've got them in the crystal side repeaters and front indicators on my classic, certainly look better than an orange blob in the middle of them.

Cheers SJ, think you've been to a couple of the South East Scoobies meets but I've missed those ones. It's not bad, still only on 74K, just age related things need doing like rocker cover gaskets and a drive shaft oil seal, the joys of owning a 21 year old car.

After looking in my engine bay today I realised that their was another job that i was meaning to do for a while now,was to clean and re-oil my air filter,I really cant believe how bad it looks now compared to a few years ago,i have ordered the kit from K&N,so as soon as it turns up i will get the job done..

New...

And Now...

Its something I reckon a lot of members forget about that run induction air filters, gone is the rich salmon colour and in its place is pure filth. My advice if you run one on your car is have a look and check today.SJ.

Great to see you back on this thread buddy.

638 bhp wow.

There was me thinking my goal of 450 on my build was half decent.... lol.

Anyway, the more builds we can keep going on here the better.

Siv.

Syvecs in my opinion is the daddy of ecu's and has been for quite some time now,Link ecu's are also up their, but the main thing with a Syvecs ecu is its functionality adaptability and the most important thing 100% support from Syvecs.SJ.

Does having that app on your phone not make you want to graft an iPad into the dash?

Agree with your comments on syvecs, I mirror mine onto a double din head unit when running on track 😊

After keeping my quick rack upgrade out of my mind for quite along time now, Kaosone went and upgraded his own car a few weeks ago and commented how the upgrade transformed his car steering, that one statement put the QR upgrade right back to the front of my mind.i made a couple of phone calls to see if the financial investment was viable i.e worth itand my mate popped around mine in his Spec-C so thought I would cop a drive and see if I could really notice the difference compared with my own car,and you know what I could...The mission has been going on for about a couple of weeks now with me trying to track down a good condition Spec-C QR....after seeing one too many cowboy sellers trying to sell scrap bent metal at extortionate prices for a quick rack that is not fit for purpose I gave up looking...So a friend of mine who does rally stages around Wales recommended me a company abroad that he purchased his QR from for his Subaru rally car...to cut along story short messages were sent between me and Daniel of {PRS Quick Rack Steering System} and I commissioned him to build me a quick rack, the QR should be with me soon...here are a few pictures sent to me from Danial of my quick rack build...

According to my mate its quicker then a Spec-C rack who has driven with both, being as its a 12.5:1 which gives precise steering feedback to the driver, more updates to follow once received and fitted..SJ.
